- National Museum of Ethiopia - Begin your Addis Ababa city tour at the National Museum of Ethiopia, renowned for its high-quality and diverse exhibits. Among its archaeological treasures is the 3.5 million-year-old fossil of Lucy (or Dinkinesh, meaning ‘thou art wonderful’ in the local language), a hominoid woman of the species Australopithecus Afarensis. Lucy’s discovery in 1974 revolutionized our understanding of human ancestry, showing that our forebears walked the earth 2.5 million years earlier than previously thought. The museum also houses numerous remarkable artifacts from the pre-Axumite civilization.
- Yekatit 12 Martyrs Square - Visit the Yekatit 12 Martyrs Monument.
- Meyazia 27 Square Monument - Also known as the Victory Monument.
- Mount Entoto - Finally, we will ascend to Entoto, once the permanent camp of Emperor Menelik II. As we drive up the hill, you’ll notice a significant drop in temperature and the refreshing scent of eucalyptus trees that blanket the area. From the summit, enjoy a panoramic view of the capital and its surrounding countryside. After spending some time on the hill, we will return to the hotel. End of tour!

Great tour and way to experience Addis - This was an excellent tour and our guide Luel was fantastic. The city is beautiful, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend for anyone that wants to see the city, and get some amazing coffee and food while doing it.

Excellent Guide & Experience Overall - Fantastic half day tour with Luel. He really knew his history and shared information freely. He has excellent English and is really enjoyable company. My husband and our 3 kids had an amazing time on all aspects of the tour and learnt a lot. Thank you Luel!

Great day in Addis Ababa - Everything worked out so well. The driver was waiting for me, had texted me and it worked out so well.
We went out of town, saw lots of sights and I really enjoyed my day. Saw some museums downtown, and enjoyed local food. Why waste your time in an airport. I had a 14 hour layover, so glad I left the airport and learned about my host country.

One of the best guided tour experiences I have ever had - I am widely-travelled and quite demanding when it comes to guided tours, and I can say that Addis (my tour guide) was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Not only was he very knowledgeable about everything that was part of the tour, but he was a fantastic source of information and an excellent, sharp-witted conversation partner on any other topic that came up during the half-day tour. Sharp, pleasant, erudite, and good sense of humor. The visit of the National Museum was truly excellent. Our tour happened to be on Good Friday, so the St. George's Cathedral was closed for visits as it was (like all the other churches) celebrating mass and was surrounded by the praying faithful, but Addis still managed to organize a church official to take me through the adjacent cathedral museum. Overall, this was an outstanding experience, and I can warmly recommend Addis and, by extension, the entire company.

A great way to spend a half day in Addis Ababa - Adisu was a wonderful guide. He was both welcoming and very knowledgeable, and the additional context he provided while at the national museum was great. Pickup right at my hotel was smooth.

Quick tour if you have a day to spare - I was the only person on the day i booked, so although initiatially disconcerting as a solo female traveler, it felt like a private tour later. The guide, Capital, was considerate & knowledgeable. Mt Entoto & St George’s Cathedral was my favourite part of the tour. Hotel pickup & drop was convenient

Best option if you don't have much time - My Guide Samuel was very good he has a great knowledge of Ethiopian culture and gave a ton of valuable information. One thing I didn't like is Mercato tour it was a little bit boring. I suggest to change it with another place.
