Highlights
 • Mount Entoto - The tour follows a chronological order of the expansion of Addis Ababa, starting with where it all started at the famous Entoto mountain. Here, you will see the vast parts of Addis Ababa from an impressive viewpoint.
 • Menelik palace - You will visit the palace of the Mighty King who kept Ethiopia independent from Colonial Powers (Emperor Menelik II). The Emperor was so busy fighting back imperialists that his palace is a humble one.
 • Entoto Maryam Church - You will walk around the historic Entoto Church, which in its compound has the first church in/around Addis Ababa. It is a tranquil church with typical ancient architecture of Ethiopian Churches.
 • Ethnological Museum - One of the finest museums in Africa, showing the full sweep of Ethiopia’s cultural and social history across two floors. It is located within Haile Selassie’s former palace and surrounded by the beautiful gardens and fountains of Addis Ababa University,
 • National Museum of Ethiopia - Ethiopia’s most important museum and home to our ancestor Lucy
 • Menelik II Square - You will drive through the center of Addis Ababa, called Old Piazza, where you will see old Italian buildings, and also masses of people transiting to different parts of the city. It is a good highlight of Addis Ababa’s way of life.

Amazing tour with friendly guide - This felt more like a friend taking you around their city than an organised tour. Brilliant insight into the city and country. And the lunch was perfect too!

Zerefa gave a great and knowledgeable tour - Zerefa was my tour guide for the day tour of Addis. He picked me up from my hotel, and took me around Mt. Entoto and the museums. He was knowledgeable, friendly and his English was very good. Highly recommend.

Zerefa is hands down the BEST - I've done this tour twice and it was amazing both times. Zerefa is an amazing and extremely knowledgable tour guide. Very kind and patient. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable for a second. If you book this tour you will not regret it. I do not believe I could ask for a better person to show us the true culture, history, and lifestyle of Addis Ababa. I would recommend this to anyone even considering coming to Addis, this should be the first experience you book. Thank you for showing us such a wonderful time and hospitality!

THE VERY BEST way to visit the Museums at Addis Abeba. - This excursion was a wonderful experience. Mr Di, the guide, is a very prepared and knowledgeable person. I could see the Entoto mountains, with the Maryam Church and the residences of Emperor Menelik II and his wife Taitu, the Ethnological Museum, the National Museum and St, George´s Church. I am very happy I chose this tour, because the city tour included in my trip only visited the National Museum, and we arrived there only 15 minutes before closing time. I would also like to say that myGuzo is serious about guests. They contacted me and apologized because the guide would be arriving late to my hotel becasue of the traffic.

Crash Course of Ethiopian History & Culture - I selected this tour because my purpose was to learn about history and culture of Ethiopia. I learned so many interesting stories, which I never would have found if I had visited these museums by myself. Really enjoyed this tour with Seid, who is super knowledgeable with millions of years of Ethiopian history. I specifically requested "a good guide", and he definitely did not fail my expectations. I showered him with questions about even outside the museum exhibits, such as recent politics, the dark regime, religions, social economy, customs, etc.. He welcomed any questions and answered them all with clarity and sincerity. Highly recommended for those who are interested in the rich culture and history of this beautiful country. (Who isn't, right? :))

We had the pleasure of takeing this... -
We had the pleasure of takeing this tour with Seya as our guide. This young man was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about Ethiopian history and culture. He was very detailed in delivering this information. I have been on several tours on several countries previously but I must say the information/knowledge that I learend from my tours with Seya was unexplainable. If you want to experience and learn about Ethiopia this is the company to book with and if you want to be enlighented requesting Seya as your guide is a must
