Arrive in Port Elizabeth Addo, Jeffreys Bay

Addo - Start your day early to maximize your chances of seeing wildlife as the bush comes alive in Schotia Safaris Private Park, the most diverse park in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Join your group for a 4-hour open safari game drive with a guide to look for some of the Big Five animals; with luck, you might see elephants, buffalo, lions, and more.

Jeffreys Bay - Travel approximately 200km to J’bay to enjoy free time at the beach or choose between optional activities like surfing or horseback riding on the beach (additional cost).

Tsitsikamma, Sedgefield

Tsitsikamma National Park - The travel route is about 300km/3 hours. After breakfast, head inland to experience the optional highest bungee jump bridge in the world, or try the optional waterfall zip-line over the Tsitsikamma forest waterfalls (both at an extra cost), or opt for free time to arrive early and enjoy more time in Tsitsikamma National Park.

Knysna - After exploring the park, continue the journey with a photo stop at Knysna’s lagoon on the way to Sedgefield.

Oudtshoorn

Oudtshoorn - Today’s travel time is about 100km/1hr30min. Visit a working ostrich farm to see the largest flightless birds in the world. Then, head to the mountains to explore the illuminated wonder of the Cango Caves, with vast halls filled with ancient stalactites.

Oudtshoorn en-route to Mossel Bay

Botlierskop Private Game Reserve - For a close encounter with nature, opt to join elephant guides for an Elephant Observation in Nature (at an extra cost) and observe three lovable rescued elephants in their natural Cango Valley bushveld habitat. Search for most of the Big Five and other wild animals from an open 4x4 vehicle in the afternoon at Botlierskop Reserve.

Garden Route Hermanus

Garden Route - The travel route is about 400km/6 hours. Take the road back along the coastline, stopping at Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Follow the scenic coastal road to Betty’s Bay to see a colony of endangered African penguins. Spend the afternoon in the seaside resort town of Hermanus, known for being home to hundreds of southern right whales from July to November.

Return to Cape Town with evening drop-offs in Cape Town or Stellenbosch (between 8pm to 10pm).
