An awesome experience in the outback. - We had a wonderful long day, first stopping at the beautifully kept Adelaide River War memorial, then to Edith Falls which was pretty and many of our tour group went into the natural pool, through Katherine which was so much bigger then I first thought. After arriving at the gorge we went aboard the boat and out into the beautiful gorge. Natures gift. We did two boat rides on 2 gorges with full commentary. Walking a short distance between both. Our bus tour driver was competent and very knowledgeable, felt quite safe in his capable hands.

Katherine Gorge- A Must See! - We had a wonderful day visiting the Adelaide River War Memorial, Edith Falls and the highlight Katherine Gorge. It is a very, very long day with a 6am pick up and an 8:30pm drop off. Libby our driver was brilliant so much knowledge of Darwin and she entertained us throughout the day. She has a great singing voice! Very comfortable coach with heaps of leg room and reclining seats. USB ports were great for charging our phones. Note there is NO included WIFI on day trips only included on longer tours. Edith Falls was beautiful to swim in very relaxing. Bring a floating device if you are not a strong swimmer as it is very deep. Lunch was a fabulous buffet, with great salads, vegetables and lasagna to choose from. You can even try some crocodile sausage rolls. The two hour boat tour down Katherine Gorge was amazing well worth the long drive to get there. Overall a wonderful day and would highly recommend.

Unforgettable day trip into Australia’s stunning natural beauty - Our journey began with an early morning pick-up, and right from the start, it was clear that this tour was well-organized and thoughtfully designed. Stopping at Edith Falls for a refreshing swim. The cool, clear waters of the falls were the perfect antidote to the warm day. The highlight of the day was the Katherine Gorge cruise. We were treated to breathtaking views of the gorge’s towering cliffs and tranquil surroundings. The guide’s informative commentary enhanced the experience, providing fascinating details about the gorge’s geology and its significance to the traditional owners of the land. Overall, the Katherine Gorge day trip was a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and learning. The combination of the gorge cruise, swim at Edith Falls, the war cemetery and a delicious lunch made for an exceptional experience. The well-informed guide and the seamless organization of the tour ensured that every moment was enjoyable and stress-free.

Katherine Gorge and oh so much more - Adelaide River, Edith Falls, good food and crocodile spotting. - Bus Driver Libby provided wonderful local insights throughout the journey, making our tour memorable and enjoyable with her off-the-cuff humour adding to the fun, not to mention her skillful driving.

Glorious Gorge - This trip is a big day but the bus is comfy and our driver Anthony kept us well informed about the areas we were driving through. It was a very hot day and our boat tour was in the afternoon, not the morning as I expected, which meant we visited the Falls in the morning, this was still lovely but I was very hot and sticky after the Gorge visit as it includes a bit of a walk, we did visit in October though so thats to be expected. Lunch was nice, but thought there could have been some bush tucker in the mix. Overall we had an enjoyable day, Anthony got us around nice and safe and the Gorge and Falls are delightful.
