  • Adelaide - In March 1994, Adelaide experienced a devastating act of domestic terrorism when the National Crime Authority (NCA) building was bombed. A powerful explosion destroyed the building and killed Detective Sergeant Geoffrey Bowen, an NCA officer. Several other people were injured in the blast.

The investigation into the bombing revealed that it was a targeted attack against law enforcement. The case remained unsolved for many years, but in 2012, a man named Domenic Perre was arrested and charged in connection with the bombing. He was convicted in 2013, marking a significant development in the case.

Engaging afternoon chatting and walking - Wonderful experience walking and chatting with Nicole. Wealth of tasty nuggets of information regarding the practice of forensic psychology in Australia and criminal incidents that have occurred in both countries were shared candidly. Nicole was enthusiastic and engaging. It was definitely an afternoon well spent touring Adelaide city and learning about an interesting less well acknowledged side to Adelaide life.

A BEAUTIFUL AND EDUCATIONAL INSIGHT INTO ADELAIDE'S DARK SECRETS. - We completed our Adelaide’s Dark Secrets True Crime Tour this morning and Nicki kept us entertained and interested for the whole 2 & a bit hours and the 5.3km of the tour. Her information was fascinating and informative and with a living colonial background of historic buildings, walkways, rivers, and bridges it was quite easy to visualise Adelaide’s dark secrets coming to life. Thank you Nicki we loved it.

So Much Fun - Going by the title of the tour, we thought it would be depressing. How wrong we were. It was so much fun. Niki is a wealth of knowledge. We learnt so much. Surprisingly, what you read in the newspapers is often a long way from the truth of what actually happened. Niki was able to give insights to crimes committed in Adelaide and around Australia. The tour was well worth it
