all things natural - Excellent full day trip to see kangaroo Island including interesting facts while enjoying fantastic scenery. There was a mix of natural monuments and beautiful native Australian animals. The guide was very informative. The 2-course lunch was fresh and delicious.

Remarkable 🤩 - It was a really good experience, the driver was so kind and knows much about history and curiousities about the island. The places we visited were just wonderful. But if you have the chance to spend more time discovering the island will be great too.

Great day on Kangaroo Island - Great day with a very knowledgeable driver/guide Chris. Enjoyed the narrative that was provided throughout the tour and his personal touch to ensure we were able to see everything included in the package along with a few extras. Definitely would recommend this especially for a one day tour of the island.

Loved the Kangaroo Island in a Day Tour - The Day Tour of Kangaroo Island was amazing. It was an early start at 6:30AM and returning at 10:35PM with plenty to see on this tour. The SeaLink ferry from Adelaide to Penneshaw was an hour long ride and we recommend you pack a light home-made breakfast or snack, as a sandwich is $10.50 and drinks are a bit expensive too onboard the ferry. Our Kangaroo Island driver/tour guide Dave was very knowledgeable, humourous and we appreciated him indicating where the public toilets were throughout the tour. The Seal Bay Conservation Park was fantastic and most of the seals were lying on the beach since it was a warm 30 degrees C day. We stopped for several minutes to see the Lighthouse then continued on to the fabulous Admirals Arch and the interesting Remarkable Rocks. Our favourite place was the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can hold and cuddle a koala for a fee, view the cute Little (fairy) Penguins, meerkats, marmosets, koalas eating in trees and we were allowed to hand-feed the kangaroos. We had lunch at the Vivonne Bay Lodge where the lovely staff were attentive to any dietary requirements. We highly recommend this day tour. Thank you to our drivers from Adelaide, Kangaroo Island tour guide Dave, all the guides at Seal Bay and the Wildlife Park for an enjoyable day.

Kangaroo Island Day Trip - Be prepared for a long day with 50% of the 16hrs travelling on either a coach or ferry. The rewards come from the diversity of sites and good commentary from the drivers. The off coach excursions were excellent, some with local guides and always a great experience.

Made for a very long day - Left hotel at 6 AM to meet the bus and was dropped off at 10:30 PM, making for a long day sitting on a bus. Ferry was 40 min of further sitting. Spent about 2 hr seeing seals, rock piles, oceanside view, and finally the nature reserve where Kangaroos, Koalas, penguins are kept. ( this was the most interesting stop where we were allowed only 30 min. In my opinion it should have been the first stop for 2 hrs.). Lunch was very good. We would not spend that time again, nor recommend it. (PS saw only a handful of kangaroos in the wild).

A long day and lots of it sat on the coach. - I really needed to think re this review and wanted to be fair particularly re the cost. I appreciate that this will cover two lengthy coach trips to and from Adelaide, a ferry and the actual tour on the Island. If you took that out of the equation it does still seem a costly day out that involves spending most of the time sat on a coach. The planning, coach drivers and guides were all good and I can’t complain there. However we were running late and they had to hold the ferry for us. Within minutes of being on the coach the guide informed us that we were unlikely to see kangaroos due to the heat (it was 40 degrees). Within about 30 mins of that we were then informed that due to the heat we weren’t able to do the beach walk alongside the sea lions and only go as far as the boardwalk. The day comprised of about 45 mins on the boardwalk viewing some sea lions, a drive to lunch, a drive to spend about 30 mins viewing furry seals, a further drive to Remarkable Rocks for about 30 minutes and then from there to a very small wildlife sanctuary for about 40 mins where we were shown 2 animals from Africa and Koalas and had the opportunity to feed kangaroos. We didn’t get out to look at the lighthouse as others clearly had, perhaps because we had started late. I guess I didn’t have a bad day but it was hard to justify the cost even if we had been able to do the beach walk and probably not a tour I would be recommending to others.
