Port Wakefield - Begin an exciting eight-day outback journey in Adelaide at 5:30 am, where the Storyteller Guide will warmly welcome you. After a coffee break in the coastal town of Port Wakefield, enjoy breathtaking views at Hancock’s Lookout.
Quorn - A short drive further leads to the outback town of Quorn. Stretch your legs and admire the renowned Pichi Richi Railway and unique silo art.
Arkaroo Rock - Following a lunch stop in Hawker, arrive at Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park for a rewarding hike at Arkaroo Rock, an important cultural site for the Adnyamathanha people.
Skytrek Willow Springs Station - This afternoon, reach Skytrek Willow Springs Station, a 70,000-acre working sheep station offering secluded bush camping, which will be the base for exploring the Flinders Ranges. After a delicious dinner prepared by the Guide, relax and enjoy a spectacular light show in the clear skies of the Southern Hemisphere. Opt for an optional stargazing experience with an expert astronomer and physicist, using a 10-inch reflecting telescope to view constellations, globular clusters, nebulae, and the planets Saturn and Jupiter. Experiences range from $90 to $190 per person and can be arranged with the Guide on the day.

Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park
Skytrek Willow Springs Station - With a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture, spend the afternoon exploring more of the ancient Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. Enjoy the stunning outback views on the Buneryoo Scenic Drive. At Brachina Gorge, there might be a chance to spot rare yellow-footed rock wallabies. After bushwalking and connecting with nature, relax around the campfire with dinner and stories with new friends.

Flinders Ranges to William Creek via the Oodnadatta Track
William Creek - Arrive late afternoon in the tiny outback settlement of William Creek. Situated in the middle of nowhere, this quirky town with a population of ten is a South Australian Outback icon. After dinner, enjoy a cold drink at the heritage-listed William Creek Hotel, established in 1887. Then, sleep under the stars in your swag at the campground.
William Creek to Coober Pedy
Coober Pedy - The rest of the day is free to explore. Stay in a unique underground bunkhouse tonight and enjoy dinner at one of the many underground eateries.

Coober Pedy to Watarrka/Kings Canyon
Erldunda - Lunch stop
Kings Canyon - Crossing into the Northern Territory, continue to Watarrka National Park, home to Kings Canyon. Arrive late afternoon at the Kings Creek Station campsite. Relax, enjoy the tranquility, and take a swim in the pool on warmer days. Capture a stunning desert sunset from the viewing platform before dining at the Station restaurant and settling in for the night.

Watarrka/Kings Canyon to Uluru
Kings Canyon - Start early for the mesmerizing Kings Canyon Rim Walk, one of the most magical experiences. With 300-metre-high sandstone walls, hidden waterholes, fern forests, chasms, canyons, and caverns, Watarrka National Park is central Australia’s oasis. Enjoy 360-degree views and explore Priscilla’s Crack, made famous by the classic Australian movie Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Discover the sandstone domes known as the Lost City and the lush Garden of Eden.
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - After lunch, relax on the drive to the final destination, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Witness an unforgettable sunset over Uluru before returning to camp for dinner.
Ayers Rock Campground - Sleep under the stars on the red Earth after dinner at camp.

Uluru
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - An early start rewards with a breathtaking sunrise over Kata Tjuta. Known in Pitjantjatjara as ‘Many Heads’, the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta are a defining feature of the Red Centre, both geographically and spiritually. Towering 546 metres above the plains, its highest peak dominates the landscape, while its ridges and ravines hold deep cultural significance for the Anangu people. While many stories remain sacred, gain insight into Anangu culture and experience the beauty of their land on a rewarding hike through the Valley of the Winds.
Ayers Rock Campground - Visit the Cultural Centre to deepen understanding of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Learn about Anangu culture and the park’s natural environment through exhibits and free presentations with Anangu and park rangers.

Yulara
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - Rise early to enjoy the serenity of a sunrise over Uluru. As sunlight plays with the landscape, the rock formations change color before your eyes. Get close to this natural wonder, standing 348 metres high and around 550 million years old, and feel its powerful presence. A guided 10 km Uluru base walk offers the best opportunity to connect with Uluru and learn its stories. Relax beside tranquil waterholes, take a break under a magnificent Sheoak tree, and explore hidden caves. Shorter walks are available for those who prefer not to do the entire base walk.
The outback adventure concludes in the late morning upon returning to the Desert Gardens Resort in Yulara. Complimentary transfers are available for those departing from Uluru Airport.
