Incredible Outback Adventure - The Adelaide to Uluru tour with Untamed Escapes was an absolutely incredible tour. Traveling through the middle of Australia, camping in swags at night under the stars, and hiking beautiful trails to catch stunning sunrises and sunsets was a surreal experience. The tour is also a very informative one that really takes into consideration the history and the culture of the aboriginal people whose lands we travel through. Our tour guide, Eli, was phenomenal and did a great job of taking care of us through the entire duration of the tour; he was very knowledgable about everything having to do with the Outback and his enthusiasm for his work was very evident. The buildup and anticipation of finally making it to Uluru by the end of the tour was extremely rewarding and I cannot recommend this tour enough for people who really want to fully experience the magic of the Outback.

Amazing trip - We took the trip from Adelaide to uluru and had the best time ever! 8 days with the best group imaginable and the best guide ever. Elliot knew everything about Australia and had so many stories and random facts to share with us. Our assistant guide Henni was so positive and lovely the whole trip and made the whole trip run so smoothly. We learnt so much about aboriginal culture from aboriginal people on various guided walks. We will not forget this trip for the rest of our lives, couldn’t recommend it more!

The best tour - This tour was one of the coolest amd best things I ever did! Dan & Marianne as his sidekick were the best guides you could wish for and I felt safe and comfortable the whole trip. I have met wonderful people during this time and have learned so much about the fauna, flora and the culture of the natives. Especially when two natives themselves (John and Rosemary) talked about their clan‘s culture, their history and shared their stories with us. Their tours were amazing, authentic and so unique (in the best way possible). The food was amazing as well (thanks Marianne)! It‘s so special eating breakfast at 5am while sitting at the fire and staring into the starry sky. We saw the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets and so many wild and rare animals. So try something new, it will be worth it, you will get to know so many other lovely people and create the most memorable memories.

Simply amazing! - As an almost 76 years old women, I can tell that this tour was a long life’s dream coming true!! From the very first contact with the company I felt that I could trust all they promised. AND I’m NOT disappointed, - everything has been very well planed and went as expected. In many ways due to our fabulous guide Dan, and his sweet girlfriend who help him by cooking delicious meals for us. He has a great knowledge of many things. Let it be history or geology, - but especially the outback and the aboriginal culture, - it was a pleasure to meet his aboriginal friends, who gave us a VERY speciel experience! Simply amazing! Not only has Dan a great knowledge, but it was clear that he enjoyed sharing this knowledge with us guests. And with great humor and good music too. I have to be honest, - the summer heat was a bit challenging….but not only for me old woman.😉 I was happy for the alternative walks I could choose, though. Sleeping in the swags under the billion stars was wonderful, and can’t really be described. Big THANKS!

An experience to remember! - In a word: AMAZING!! What an experience and what we have seen a lot of the beautiful nature and outback. Our tour guide ‘Dan’ knows a lot about (the origins of) Australia, the original inhabitants / owners and the flora and fauna. We were also lucky enough to be looked after by Marianne! A hit! And okay: after the explanation the first day about the swag we went to sleep in, we had to swallow very hard. It looked a little different than I thought. But it's really true: from the second night on, you sleep really relaxed. And then you also fall asleep under a beautiful starry sky. An experience for life we wouldn't have missed for the world!

Amazing 8 Day Adelaide to Uluru Tour - I did the 8-Day Adelaide to Uluru Tour in February 2025 as a solo traveller and had the most amazing time with a great group of people. The tour was brilliant and well organised from start to finish. Our tour guide Steve was great - he was good company, told interesting stories and facts, pointed out the wildlife, made sure we had good food each day and enough water and suitable shoes for hikes. I would highly recommend this tour - it was fantastic and a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you untamed escapes!
