A morning on the Popeye - My friend and I thought we would try the Popeye cruise when we were visiting Adelaide last week and we were not disappointed The staff were so helpful and informative, there is so much to learn by going on this cruise. The Devonshire Tea is not to be missed, so delicious. we had the most delightful time and we would recommend everyone visiting Adelaide to try it.

Great experience - The whole trip was really enjoyable. It takes about 40 mins and you can disembark at the zoo and then hop back on when you’re ready. It was interesting to hear about the city of Adelaide and a really different way to see the place.

River cruise on the Torrens aboard Popeye. - The trip was excellent. The host/driver was very knowledgeable and had a lovely brand of light humour that added to the experience. The assistant was also very attentive and looked after everyone very well. Probably the highlight of our 5-day trip to Adelaide.

Fun for all ages - Great introduction to Adelaide’s history and a way to see the river and its surrounds in a comfortable and entertaining way. The boxed Devonshire tea was given out as we boarded and a hot drink brought by one of the staff. It’s a well-run family operation and everyone of all ages onboard seemed to enjoy it. Keep in mind there’s little shade at the Popeye meeting place, the closest toilets seemed to be the Adelaide Railway Station ones and there’s an option to disembark at the Zoo and catch a later Popeye trip back.

What Devonshire Tea?? - The pamphlet says and has photo of Devonshire Tea provided on Sightseeing 45 minute cruise. That is what we did 10, no Devonshire Tea or mention of it. Tore up the pamphlet and will not recommend. Thank you
