This comprehensive day trip blends the highlights of Adelaide city with the quaint but classic Adelaide Hills. Ranked as one of the most livable cities in the world, there is much to discover in Adelaide from the superb architecture to the cultural boulevards and surrounding park lands. Following some free time in the city for lunch, travel through the Adelaide Hills to the towering Mount Lofty Summit, where you will see the scenic span on the South Australian landscape from the city to the coast, then on to explore the delights of Australia’s oldest German settlement, Hahndorf, and experience the charm of quaint, historic hills villages.
- The morning tour will stop at 12.00pm on King William Street near Rundle Mall. Passengers can choose to disembark here to get some lunch & make their own way back to the Adelaide Central Bus Station by 1pm or stay onboard the coach that will return to the ACBS at 12:15pm. Clients then have free time to purchase their own lunch before boarding at 1.15pm for the afternoon part of their full day tour.
- This tour combines the Adelaide City Highlights and the Adelaide Hills & Hahndorf tours. Lunch is not included.

A must do in Adelaide - We had a fantastic day with Chris yesterday.
We did a morning tour of the city sights with expert commentary including a stop at the wine museum.
In the afternoon we went to the hills and Hahndorf. We also stopped off at mt lofty. Chris showed us the landscape and explained what a dodge tide is. He also used a map to shown the walking team from kangaroo island to the flinders ranges.
The afternoon tea and stop at beerenberg and Hahndorf was nice.
It was clear Chris enjoyed showing people Adelaide. He also cared for those who needed assistance.

Adelaide Highlights &Hahndorf Tour - Our tour guide Mike was fantastic, the commentary around Adelaide was very informative. The little town of Hahndorf was quaint and looked like you were in Germany, afternoon tea at a German Pub suited many people, even with a beer sample paddle if you wanted something different. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.

An excellent tour that gives good insight into the area in the one day. - Tour of Adelaide City was very informative. Driver gave good history of the area. Especially enjoyed the visit to St Peters Cathedral. Visit to Hahndorf was excellent as well.

Adelaide and the Hills - Both the tour of Adelaide and the visit to Hahndorf were interesting and enjoyable. We were fortunate that the timings fitted with the cruise ship timings and we were helped by Colin at Sealink who called our driver Michael to make sure we got onboard the bus at 9.00 am.

City Highlights - Peter was an excellent tour guide who had a wealth of information about the city of Adelaide, it’s history and culture. He showed us many interesting sights. Lunch was not included but we were close to the Central Market which was a great spot for lunch. We enjoyed the afternoon visit to Hahndorf, cute little tourist town

Good overall view of the city. - Good City tour.
The Hahndorf promotion coupon of free drink at the Hahndorf Inn is a joke and anti promotion to the place, no service other than long waiting! Terrible!

Due to our train The Ghan... - Due to our train The Ghan being delayed due to flooding we did not get into Adelaide on time for this tour. However we were able to alter it for a half day tour the following day which was very good
