- Three Sisters - The Three Sisters Day Tour showcases the best of Cape Chignecto through an impressive kayaking journey. Each leg of the paddle lasts approximately 1.5 hours, with a delightful picnic break in the middle. At our Advocate Harbour office, our amiable team will equip you with all the necessary gear for your kayaking excursion. You’ll then take a 30-minute drive in your own car to the starting point on a secluded beach, where our certified and engaging guides will greet you. Following a brief on-beach tutorial, we’ll set off to glide past the awe-inspiring, vibrant cliffs at a comfortable pace, as your guides snap photos and share captivating stories about the area’s rich geological features and the Mi’kmaq people, whose history is echoed in the local place names. The tour’s standout experiences include kayaking through a natural arch and past the iconic Three Sisters rock formations (accessible during high tide paddles; during low tide, you’ll have the chance to walk on the ocean floor). After paddling for around 1.5 hours, we’ll stop at a picturesque cove for a homemade picnic that consistently earns high praise from our guests. Following a period of leisure and exploration, we’ll return with the outgoing tide, marveling at the ever-changing landscape.
