- Shai Hills Resource Reserve - Day 1: ACCRA | SHAI | AKOSOMBO
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, the group will check out of the hotel and head towards Akosombo in the Eastern Region.
The first destination is Shai Hills Forest Reserve, where the group will explore the ancestral caves of the Krobo people. A stroll through the cool, dry evergreen forest provides an opportunity to see remnants of old Shai settlements within the reserve. Be on the lookout for wildlife such as antelopes, bushbucks, baboons, and various bird species.
The ancestral caves are of great historical significance, having served as fortresses for the Shai King until the late 19th century. The large stone rocks, tunnel-like openings, and overhangs made them perfect defensive structures during wartime.
Later, the group will proceed to Akosombo, arriving early in the evening. Check into the hotel and relax with a soothing boat ride on Lake Volta.

- Tafi Atome - Day 2: AKOSOMBO | TAFI | WLI | AKOSOMBO
After a relaxed breakfast and morning, the group will visit Tafi Atome, a sanctuary for Mona and Patas monkeys. These monkeys thrive in a small forest patch that has survived fire and human disturbance. The villagers consider them sacred and protect them.
Next, the group will continue to Wli Waterfalls, Ghana’s largest and highest waterfall. It is divided into two sections, with ice-cold water cascading from a height of about 80 feet. On the way to the waterfall, the group will hike through the lush greenery of the Agumatsa Forest Reserve, crossing the same river eleven times before reaching the stunning falls.
Afterward, the group will return to the resort and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
