What they said.....it's all true! JUST DO IT!!! - Please read the previous reviews as we must echo the sentiments of all those glowing reports. As for your host, Abdel, you'd be hard-pressed to meet many human beings with such warmth and integrity (with whom you feel entirely comfortable) and will, no doubt, be glad you didn't miss this captivating experience! If you are fussy and are worried you’ll be shamed into trying a bunch of weird stuff DON’T BE! You get the chance to say in advance what you things you won't eat, and Abdel could not be more sensitive to your needs - in fact, even after we'd arrived at our first stop-off, I expressed a liking for a particular dish I'd had before and he generously arranged on-the-spot for something different but containing similar flavours to be cooked!!! You will not be challenged in any way unless you want to be, yet there is enough of the novel to delight. To be fair, though, there are no horribly unfamiliar ingredients, and everything was delicious. (I count myself roughly average in terms of fussiness/tolerance and there was only one thing I didn’t fancy - which I was not at all pressured to try). This makes it sound as though the dishes are bland, middle-of-the-road, crowd-pleaser type stuff but that couldn't be further from the truth: there really is a lot of diversity in the selection, so I guess this is just testament to how much delectable cuisine exists in this beautiful country. We even thoroughly enjoyed food here that we don't like at home (eg prunes ). It doesn’t matter how many of the dishes you choose to sample, you will hugely enjoy this experience as it’s culturally immersive whilst being simultaneously easy-going, not to mention quirky, and right up my street! (And I can't wait to try some of the recipes we were given when I get home!) For all you control freaks out there: if you are anxious about the nuts and bolts of what’s happening where and when, again, DON’T BE!! You will be kept well-informed in advance and not out of your depth in any way. And you will feel truly looked after, even by the cabby, too :) Our group, although strangers to start with, handed us some hilarious moments, and I’m sure every tour must likewise be uniquely fun - I definitely plan to do it again if/when we return (Inshallah)! It takes a rare personality to not only come up with such an ingenious concept but to execute it in such a way as to make everyone feel seen and at ease, besides imparting useful and intriguing information (of course!) Don’t hesitate to book this tour - it ticks all the boxes, and you will feel enriched not only for what you have taken in mentally and physically but also for meeting such a modest and personable guyl! If I were rich enough and in need of one, I'd employ him as my P.A.!!!

Magical experience. Amazing food tour. - This tour is a must for anybody visiting Agadir. Abdel's attention to detail is incredible and nothing is too much trouble. There was just the right level of walking, talking and eating. The tour of the souk was amazing and the food throughout the tour was out of this world. Thank-you Abdel for a really wonderful afternoon. Totally memorable.

Must do in Agadir - Abdel was an absolute incredible host, so warm, welcoming and knowledgable. The food included is all so delicious and it’s a fantastic way to explore the main Souk too, especially if this is something you might be a little apprehensive about. I cannot recommend this enough!!

Living the Souk el Had - Abdel, our guide, speaks very well in French as in English without counting Arabic and Tamazight, He is very attentive and intentional! He made me discover the souk el Had like an Agadirois. Good job!

Fantastic food tour - Can't recommend highly enough - Spent an amazing afternoon with Abdel on our Agadir food tour! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable, Abdel provided a well paced tour with multiple food stops and many dishes which he took time to tell us the background, traditions and ingredients of each dish. Portion sizes were plentiful allowing a good (& filling) tasting experience. Dishes were traditional and varied from starters, mains - meat, fish, chicken, tagines to drinks, fruit, yogurt and cakes (not giving too much detail as don't want to give any spoilers). Abdel's relaxed, unrushed and clear approach, with his well organised itinerary made this a very enjoyable tour. I've done quite a few food tours during other trips in various destinations and this has definitely been the best one to date. The follow up information for the dishes we tried are very helpful and much appreciated...not sure my attempts to recreate them at home will be so tasty, but will have fun trying! He also shares informative Morocco facts and we loved the souk part which is a mini tour in itself. Also enjoyed it being a smaller group size so got a chance to get to know our other tour couple too. A truly lovely afternoon Abdel, thank you so much. Great food tour - Abdel was great at looking after us, making sure we had everything we needed at all times. He comes well prepared for anything and has some lovely connections with local eateries. It's a great way of experiencing food and venues you might not otherwise visit with a local host. Thoroughly recommend.

Best food tour - From start to finish this was a fantastic experience, led by the brilliant Abdel. He was organised, knowledgeable and the perfect host. The tour was well thought out with delicious foods on offer, he also explained about the languages, culture and history of Agadir. We would highly recommend this experience!

The real Agadir food experience!! - A true local gastronomic experience with Abdel who is an enthusiastic, well informed, guide who is passionate about his wonderful country, the food, the culture and the customs of his people. This is a return visit for me as my husband and I did this experience with Abdel in October and I wanted my friends to have the opportunity to experience the delights of Agadir with Abdel. I cannot recommend it enough.
