Agadir Kasbah - Depart at 8:00 am from Agadir to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Deep South, passing through Taroudant and the Sirwa mountains, and Taliwin, known for its saffron cultivation. Before reaching Ouarzazate, we’ll visit the renowned Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular filming location for major movies. After lunch, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, stopping for a few photos of the Taourirt Kasbah, the city’s old quarter. We’ll then proceed through the Skoura Oasis, home to numerous ancient kasbahs among the palm trees, and visit the lesser-known but fascinating Amridel Kasbah. We’ll spend our first night in a guest house or auberge in the Dades Valley.
Dades valley - Todra gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga desert & camel ride
Merzouga Desert - After breakfast, take a walk through the Todra Gorge before heading to the Erg Chebbi Desert. Along the way, capture photos of Tinghir’s palm groves, enjoy a stroll by the Todra River, and sip on mint tea. Then, cross the Anti Atlas mountains en route to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes at the edge of the Sahara. Here, you’ll ride a camel and spend the night in a bivouac camp, with dinner and drum music under the stars.

Merzouga - Rissani - Anti Atlas - Draa valley - Marrakech
Medina of Marrakesh - Rise early to watch the sunrise and enjoy a mint tea before a camel ride to a kasbah hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then, journey back through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, where your adventure concludes at the original departure point.
