- Marina D’agadir - Situated at one end of the city’s expansive bay, the Agadir Marina, often referred to as the Agadir Marina, represents luxury in the Moroccan capital. It is a favored spot for tourists, as it hosts the boats and yachts of Morocco’s elite. These vessels, many of which are quite lengthy, can be admired from their docks.
The Agadir Marina offers 300 berths for boats up to 30 meters in length. It remains open throughout the year due to its pleasant climate. Positioned on a major shipping route, it serves as an ideal stopover for boats looking to refuel or explore the city.
- Agadir Kasbah - Agadir Oufella, a fortress established in the 16th century, showcases a remarkable blend of historical events, Moroccan cultural traditions (both Muslim and Hebrew), local musical expressions, and ancient spiritual practices.
This Kasbah is Agadir’s most frequented historical site. It is the perfect location to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views that change with the time of day and to uncover the mysteries of genuine Saadian architecture. Within its walls, it preserves the remnants of a peaceful community life that was abruptly ended by the 1960 Agadir earthquake.
Currently, as part of Agadir’s urban development initiative, a team of experts has conducted preventive archaeological excavations within the walls following international standards, along with restoration and restitution efforts to allow visitors to experience the sociocultural aspects of the Kasbah before its destruction.
- Mosquee Mohamed V - Situated in the lively Quartier Nouveau or New Talborjt, on Kennedy Avenue, the Mohamed V Mosque is the largest in the city. It is located in a bustling area, and its towering minaret, adorned with numerous small windows, stands out against the cityscape. Constructed in 1960 following the earthquake, entry is restricted to non-believers, but from the outside, one can admire the intricate ornamentation of its facades, its beautiful horseshoe arch doors, and the grand double staircase leading to one of the entrances with its turquoise-colored grilles. Inside, the floor is fully carpeted, and the arches supported by white columns extend as far as the eye can see.
- Argan Oil Factory - Morocco is renowned for producing exceptional argan oil in the Souss Massa regions. This oil offers numerous benefits, both as a food and a cosmetic. Rich in fatty acids and vitamin E, it is known for moisturizing and revitalizing the skin, and it is particularly beneficial for hair.
