Day 1: Agadir – Taroudante – Taliouine – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
Erg Chigaga - Departing early in the morning, the journey begins with a drive to the historic town of Taroudant, often referred to as “Little Marrakech.” Here, the vibrant colors of the spice and clothing markets can be admired. A visit to a women’s cooperative is also possible. The journey continues to Taliouine, the center of the saffron region, where saffron tea can be savored. The trip then proceeds towards Foum Zguid.
The next destination is the vast sand dunes of Erg Chegaga. Visitors can enjoy a picturesque sunset, take a camel ride, and then relish dinner while spending the night in nomadic tents under a starlit sky in a Berber bivouac in the heart of the Sahara desert.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Iriqui Lake – Taroudante – Agadir
Shop Espace Taznakht - After witnessing the sunrise and having breakfast, the journey continues in a 4×4 vehicle towards Foum Zguid, this time passing by the dry Lake Iriqui. After exploring the offerings of the Foum Zguid region, the trip proceeds to Taznakht and then to Taliouine for lunch. The adventure concludes with a return to Agadir, marking the end of the 2-day journey from Agadir to the Sahara desert.
