Agbogbloshie tour - great insightful tour, meeting the people who livelihood depends on this site. Seeing the community and how the place is organised, operates with support network. I felt safe throughout and not too intrusive interfering with people everyday working lives. Both my guides were very good.

Incredible and humbling - Incredible experience. Very humbling. Aweisu was an amazing guide. Not an overly long tour, you basically get driven to the site and spend an hour or so being walked through Agbogbloshie seeing some of the working and living areas.

Insightful and necessary tour to understand our world today - Highly recommend this incredible and insightful tour into the growing challenge of electronic waste. Our tour guide Taufic and the indomitable Awal showed us both sides of this challenge and as we explored we understood more about the community and the people that have carved out a living here and we could see the economic innovation everywhere. So much to understand and learn from our knowledgeable guides - an experience never to be forgotten. Thank you both for creating this opportunity for others to learn from. Warmest wishes.

Another side of Ghana - Such an eye-opening trip seeing this part of Ghana, which I think not most travellers chose to go. I had an opportunity to see how these so called scrappers dealers processed a tradeable metals from literally pile of electronic junks. It was quite bizarre to see how massive and large the waste accumulated to the point it becomes a mountain-like figure. Taufiq was very informative and such a high energy guide to travel with. Highly recommend this trip for those of you who concern about environmental change. Ps. Wear tough shoes

Where does our e-waste go? - Increased amounts of E-waste should be a global concern. Developing countries see e-waste as a potential source of valuable materials, leading to efforts to recover and reuse components from discarded electronics, but this is not always done with adequate safety measures. Open burning and dumping may cause harm to the public health, and the environment. This visit was an eye-opener about the extent and severity of the problem. I truly recommend this visit.
