Traditionally seen as the guardian of sailors, Agios Sozon is venerated in both mainland and coastal villages. His name means “savior” in Greek, and sailors often call upon him for protection from turbulent seas, saying “Holy Savior, save us!”
- Ρίνα - Rina Cave is situated by a pristine beach with exotic green waters in the Kalandos area on the island’s southern coast. The cave, located on the right side of the beach, is home to some bird nests, while a spring providing fresh water is found on the left side of the cave.
- Naxos - On the island’s southern coast, Spedo Beach on Naxos Island is an untouched beach with crystal-clear waters, set in an area of rare natural beauty. It is perfect for those seeking peace and solitude.
- Paralia Panormos - This sandy beach is located in the southeast of the island at Panorama. One of its most appealing aspects is that it is among the quietest beaches on Naxos, if not the quietest.
