A very enjoyable and worthwhile trip enhanced by our guide Enrico, we would highly recommend to everyone. - We were picked up from our Hotel at 0930 at the specified time. Our guide Enrico was Italian and spoke very good English, he was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful especially when going up the richtis gorge to the mountain waterfall where I went for a dip in the cool water for some good photos. We visited an olive farm and had a taste session which was good the staff were all very friendly as well. The views from the Taverna where we stopped for lunch were amazing and the food was local and very nice. After lunch we headed to the ancient settlement and one of the oldest trees in the world. We didn’t feel we were rushed along and could stop and take photos when wanted. We arrived back at about 1730 after having a fantastic day and would thoroughly recommend this tour.

A great tour if you are interested in what locals are doing on the island, what history they have and what gets produced. - The tourguide was really nice and could answer all my questions about the island. The waterfall itself was very beautiful and we also got to see an ancient village, olive tree which was 9000 years old and got to taste some locally produced olive oil. All in all a really succesful and fun day. 😀👍

Fantastic day out. Michael was truly amazing - Great excursion, fantastic, most memorable day. Even better tour guide with Michael. The ruins and oldest olive tree were a true natural sight! Olive tree was so beautiful and a calm feeling around. What a day it was.. the meal at the taven was delicious, and I shall attempt baking the walnut syrup cake. Michael was an amazing tour guide. My partner accidentally dropped his phone out of his pocket at the ruins..and we searched and could not find it. Michael suggested waiting until sun down and looking on the mountain in the dark! We returned, and my partner was so stressed. A little while later, Michael found it about 20 feet away from where we were! What a genuine kind person, literally can not believe the day happened. We spent 15 hours in the end with Michael and met a lovely German lady too. Would i return? Yes! Even just to see Michael again. He truly looked after us. Thank you, Michael, God of the Mountains!

Great variety and sites - Thomas provided an amazing Cretan experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Crete history and culture. The drive in our Range Rover was comfortable, exhilarating and safe. He navigated the steep windy narrow road down and back up to the Richtis Gorge with comforting skill. The hike was beautiful and mildly challenging. Definitely wear secure and water safe shoes. The falls were a nice attraction running lightly in September. The ancient olive trees were interesting as was the olive oil tour. He added a lot of fascinating information as a long time local resident. Highly recommended. The lunch stop at the Panorama restaurant was delicious and authentic fresh local cuisine. The views were spectacular.

Good day - Went to olive factory for a quick tour. Fortunately, we had been to another more extensive tour as this is a brief one but good. Visited one of the oldest olive trees in Crete. Very impressive. The walk to the waterfall. Walk is mild challenging but not for you ger people. A walking stick is very helpful. Waterfall was small but pretty. The drive up/down was the crazy part. Stopped at a local restaurant with a great view. Wonderful local spread of food! Our guide was very knowledgeable. Michael picked us up, and I would have liked to have had him as a guide, but he had a different tour, and we switched. If you are here for a short visit, it's a great way to see a lot of Crete.
