Excellent day out! - Great boat with good facilities - a café on both the main decks serving drinks, ice cream and snacks. An absolutely excellent guide - his language skills are second to none, asking everyone their preferred language as they boarded, and giving the entire tour in English, German, French and Dutch! Really impressive. The trip itself is really well organised - you get a stop-off on the the way to Spinalonga, where you can swim in the sea if you like (30 mins). After you disembark at Spinalonga, you pay the 8 Euros entrance (4 Euro concessions), and can walk around yourself or take one of the guided tours. You're given 90 minutes to explore, which is more than enough to climb to the top and walk the perimeter, taking in the stories of the island.
Very pleased with it - a great afternoon out (12:30 - 17:30ish) that is well worth adding to your trip itinerary.

Excellent value for money! - This trip is excellent value for money!
The boat is great, lots of shade, two bars and there’s a guide over the tannoy in multiple languages describing the different landmarks that can be seen from the boat.
The swimming stop was great.
The guided tour of Spinalonga island was the highlight of the trip, our guide was very informative, funny and engaging.
My only critique is that I wish there was more time on Spinalonga, once the guided portion is over there’s not much time to visit the rest of the island under your own steam.

Very good experience - We really liked it, it was a very good half day experience to share with the family. The history of the island is fascinating and the bath halfway there is great. Suitable for families with young children

Where's the Guide? - Beautiful sea walk, good swimming but we did not have a French Guide on the island. We were made to wait 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes and another 15. The Guide has finally arrived. We had very interesting explanations besides but without the visit. We did not have time to go around.... Just a quarter! Frustration totale.

Nice time - Nice time at sea and exploring Spinalonga Island. There was a guide at Spinalonga, but there was also free time to explore at your own.

Great Boat Trip - Despite there being many Excursions to the Island we decided to do the Spinalonga Trip off our own backs and when we reached the Harbour area in Agios Nikolaos we checked with the Nostos Cruises Team situated on the sea Wall. They seemed to do exactly what we wanted, a no frills trip to the Island and Return…..Ideal. The Boat Lesotho bang on time and took around an hour to reach the Island with a brief 20-25 minute Swimming Stop part way. Good information in various languages during the Journey and on the return. Our Captain ensured the Trip back left on time which was ideal as it started to Rain heavily. We arrived back at Agios Nikolaos bang on schedule and overall a Great Value for Money Trip. On Board you can buy Food & Drinks and there are Toilets.

A worthwhile trip - We booked a trip to Spinalonga during our stay in Ag Nik and would highly recommend.
We booked via trip advertiser the day before so when we arrived we just showed our tickets and were able to board, no waiting around to buy tickets on the day which was great.
We took advice from other reviews and arrived 45 mins before departure - we’d say the boat was already around 60% full so early arrival is definitely recommended.
The first part of the trip takes about 45 mins before a break for swimming which lasts 30 mins. After this you travel round the fortress of Spinalonga and arrive on the island, takes about 25 mins and the views of the island are great during this section. You get 1.5 hours on the island - we would have loved more time to explore, factoring in travel time and swimming time it isn’t that long on the island really. Then it’s a direct sail back to Ag Nik.
Some other reviews mention swimming on the way back - we’d agree. I didn’t swim as didn’t want to be damp walking around the island - a dip on the way back to Ag Nik might have been better.
We also agree with other reviews that the bar is very reasonably priced - €6 for a cocktail, €5 for a beer. Good choice of hot food (hotdogs, burgers) and cold baguettes, sandwiches etc available on board.
A worthwhile trip if you’re in the area - would recommend.

Boat trip to Spinalonga - A nice boat trip where we on our way to the destination stopped for bathing. Something that was good in the heat. There is a kiosk and a bar on the boat. Spinalonga itself was an experience with guidance.

Good concept - poor execution - Online booking smooth. Boarded 45 mins before sailing time to find the boat already pretty full. Then sat and watched more and more people board right up to sailing time (12:30pm). No way this boat has enough lifejackets for all the passengers. Overcrowding for the boat ride had knock-on consequences at Spinalonga. Very slow to get everyone off the boat, with everyone then needing to queue to buy entry tickets to the site at one small kiosk. There were supposed to be guides to take you round but they didn't identify themselves well and the wait for everyone to disembark and get tickets was very long and very hot in the sun. We eventually abandoned the wait and went for a walk round the island ourselves. It's an OK trip for the price but could be so much better.

Beware if it's hot out... - The boat ride was fine but it was incredibly hot that day so hard to enjoy the trip. There was nowhere you could go to cool down. The stop for swimming could have been longer and would have been very much appreciated if it was after the port due to the heat.
