On top! Full and cheap excursion, I recommend! - Excursion to the top, food service on board by expensive and good, sea swimming very very cool, really cheap for what is included in the excursion. A little lack of time for visiting the island though.

Beautiful island to visit - Absolutely lovely island to visit. The boat trip was lovely, however didn’t realise the sea swimming was off the back of the boat - it was fun. Was a 30 minute stop.

Great, interesting and entertaining boat trip - Very nice tour along the coast. Bathing stop wouldn't have to be OK for me now, but in terms of duration. The Leprosy Island very interesting. Also the remarks at the beginning of the 1 1⁄2 h on the island in German very interesting and presented with a lot of wit and irony. A really great afternoon trip that is absolutely inexpensive.

Boat tour to Spinalonga - Did the Spinalonga tour. The vessel is quite large and quite old, and a bit rough in places, although we felt safe. It is quiet, though, compared to a lot of Greek tour boats. The crew are friendly and helpful. Food and drink options are good for a short trip. The tour of Spinalonga was a little disappointing, our guide took us to a ruined building near the entrance, told us about the island for 20 mins or so and then left us to our own devices. We were expecting to be taken around the island with explanations as we went. It was still worthwhile though, and we would happily do it again the next time we are in Crete.

Great experience - I was lucky to have a great guide who speaks 3 languages and knew great about the history of Crete and the island. I can also highly recommend the Greek salad on board. Super much and great priced.

Great little trip - Have to be honest for the price(I paid €17) I thought this trip was pretty good. Boat trip there and back is 4.5 hours total. Boat does get busy even at this time of year so advisable to show up at least half hour before leaving. Plenty of food drink and snacks on board be aware it’s a cash only bar. The boat stops off on the way for people to get off and have a swim if they want to so take a towel and swimwear if this appeals to you. Price does not include the 8 euro entry on to the island. I thought our English speaking tour guide was exceptional with her historic knowledge of the island. I wanted to visit as I had been reading the book The Island by Victoria Hislop inspired by the Cretan villages and Spinalonga and its use as a leper colony in the 1930/40s. Got back to Aghios at 17:00. All in all excellent value for money.

Great cruise - Great one afternoon cruise with Guide in French on the boat and on the island of spinalonga that introduces us to the ihistory of the island. Bar service and small catering. Swimming 30 min in crystal clear waters very pleasant (taken before visiting the island, provide towel and swimsuit).

Too many people - Far too busy and this was in October- not even enough seats on the boat for all passengers - we boarded 30 minutes before departure and struggled to find a seat

Could be so much better . - Left 45 minutes late due to late arrival of a coach . Boat went straight to Spiralonga , very busy , and no English guide as advertised. Quick dash to beach with very limited time to swim , then a meal of lamb chop , coleslaw bread and an apple. Advertised trip around an island to see a rare herd of goats missed as boat went straight back . As these boat trips are very popular the poor service need never improve .
