The only way to travel! - Alexander was amazing! He took such good care to show us the real Crete and educate us on the rich history. We really meandered through Rethymno (did a little shopping) and then had an incredible lunch in Argiroupolis where we ate the most heavenly lamb that was cooked over wood fire, we saw the chef catch (with a net) our trout and just feasted away! Of course, a little Raki to finish. Then we went to Kournas Lake, which was so beautiful and peaceful. Lastly to Chania, and even though it was late, Alexander didn’t rush us and walked us ally through the old city and even pointed out the Synagogue, which we really wanted to see.
