Highlights
- Laneia - Our first stop will be at the picturesque Village of Laneia; a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses. We will see the Old Wine press of the village, as well as the Olive Mill.
- Troodos Mountains - Next stop will be in Troodos Mountains Square, in the surroundings of the pinewoods, you may enjoy a coffee break and wander around the Stalls selling traditional products.
- Kykkos Monastery (Panagia tou Kykkou) - Continuing up the mountains with beautiful forest views, we will arrive at the island’s most famous and wealthiest monastery - Kykkos. Founded at the end of the 11th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. With its impressive gold decoration, paintings and mosaics, the monastery possesses a precious icon of the Virgin Mary painted by the Apostle Luke.
- Throni - Following on the peak of the mountain, we will have the opportunity to visit the stunning (Throni tis Panagias) of Kykkos. Well worth it, to experience the wonderful views of the beauty of nature all around; it is here that during long periods of drought, the monks of the nearby Kykkos Monastery used to climb to the top of the mountain, place the Virgin Mary icon on a wooden “throne” and pray for rain. It is also the location of the tomb of the first President of the Republic of Cyprus Archbishop Makarios III.
- Pedoulas - Next, you will have time to relax and enjoy lunch at a nearby mountain traditional restaurant.
- Lambouri Winery - After lunch, we will visit a winery for wine tasting, located in the island’s best grape region. Here you can try a variety of locally produced exquisite wines, including the famous “Commandaria”, which is one of the oldest named wines in the world.

Omodos - Lastly, we will stop at Omodos village; where you can visit Timios Stavros Church of the Holy Cross; the local bakery, try a Cypriot coffee made in the traditional way. Wander around this interesting village with its craft shops.
Omodos is situated in the heart of the wine producing countryside, with the beauty of nature all around.

Great excursion to Troodos Mountains, including Kykkos Monastery - Great excursion to the Troodos Mountains. The tour leads you to varied places and is well organized. Personally I found the Kykkos Monastery particularly fascinating. Would have liked to spend more time there. Sokrates is a great driver and guide - very pleasant and considerate. I enjoyed our conversations.

Perfect Day Tour Experience - It was a great day filled with wonderful memories. My special thanks to our tour driver-guide-DJ for a perfect ride, complete with great music and interesting commentary. The tour was on a comfortable mini-bus with pleasantly mild air conditioning, which I appreciated. The time management was excellent; we were able to see a lot and still return on schedule. I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent - We had a very nice tour sokrates was very good we went to laneia and omodos two beautiful villages and also to kikos monastery which was quiet impressive we would like to take more toures with this proffesinal company

Amazing tour! - We had a wonderful time. Our guide Socrates was very knowledgable with excelent english (10 out of 10). We saw great scenery and beautiful villages. We truly recommend this tour.

Highly informative and fun - Socrates has quite a name to live up to, but he was really informative and we learned a lot on what was really a packed trip. They could probably do a little less, but it was a great tour overall and the first village (Lenaeia)?) was lovely, while I was tired by the time we got to the more touristy Omodos at the end of the day. The Kykkos monastery was excellent and we got great views throughout the trip, with expert driving and oral history. Wine tasting was a bit lame (poor wine and irritating clown tasting host) so could be changed elsewhere, but would recommend tour as a whole to anyone.

History crammed trip - Great driver, knowledgeable and friendly.

Excellent tour to see the mountains and villages- a much do when you are in Lemesos, Cyprus. - I highly recommend this small group tour of the mountains and small villages of Troodos. Our tour guide, Chris, was engaging and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He shared his extensive knowledge of the areas we travelled through as well as the rich history and culture of Cyprus. We stopped at several beautiful villages, learned about the traditions and saw how olive oil and wine were produced in the past. Each village or stop had its own unique highlights but the Kykkos monastery is worth a mention. The wine tasting included a range of excellent wines. We had ample opportunities to visit local shops, enjoy coffee and take photos. The small bus was comfortable and air conditioned. This tour is excellent value for money.

Great tour, as promised - Booked online. Our pickup was on time. Comfortable, modern air-conditioned minibus. Our guide was a careful driver, informative and helpful. The tour followed the itinerary exactly. It would have been great to squeeze in one of the painted churches too, but the monastery was impressive.
