Travelling with Ramesh in March and April 2024 - In March and April 2024 I travelled from Australia to India and chose once again to travel with Ramesh Kumar for 24 days. From the time Ramesh met me at Indra Gandi Airport I knew I was in safe hands. This was my 3rd visit to this exciting country. Ramesh showed me many new and exciting sights in New Delhi, although I had already spent time in New Delhi there were other sights to explore as it is such a huge city. Ramesh’s knowledge is exemplary. His many years of experience driving with all nationalities is amazing. He drives through the traffic (which is horrendous) in New Delhi with ease and with maximum concentration. After New Delhi we drove to Chandigarh. This is a planned city and is known for its architecture and urban design. Chandigarh is often called “Green City” because of its beautiful parks and gardens. Next we travelled from Chandigarh to Himachal Pradesh (242 klms) road distance. I was fortunate enough to be in Himachal Pradesh for Holi (a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated once a year as the Festival of Colours, Love and Spring). Our next stop was Amristar – the home of the Golden Temple. It is famous for its full golden dome – it is one of the most sacred pilgrim sights for Sikhs. The dome is coated with 500 kg of 24 karat gold. The pool surrounding the Golden Temple is known as the Amrit Sarovar. From Amristar we travelled to Bikaner. We visited Karni Mata Temple or “Temple of Rats”. There are thousands of rats living here and they roam freely. I am so grateful to have travelled with Ramesh as I was greeted each morning with the plan for the day. His experience shines through and he is always suggesting places to visit. Travelling him is always exciting and a pleasure. We continued our journey to Jaisalmer. We drove to the Thar Desert where we went on a jeep ride in the sand dunes and had dinner, enjoyed a show and slept at Rajasthan Desert Camp. From the Desert Camp we drove back Jaisalmer city and then onto Jodphur. The Blue City with the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort with many artifacts. After spending time in Jodhpur we drove to Ranakpur. We visited the most amazing Jain Temple. This Temple is famous for its beautiful carved idol of Parshvanatha made out of a single marble slab. Our next city was Udaipur – my favourite city. It is known as the Lake City. City Palace in Udaipur is a magnificent structure. Ramesh is always willing to organise a guide to give clients a further insight in all cities Our next stop was Pushkar. It is known as the Holy City. Very busy and extremely interesting. We drove to Jaipur for our next stop. Jaipur is a fascinating city. It is a city of course in the Golden Triangle and very popular with tourists. Shopping and sightseeing are the main attractions here. After Jaipur we travelled to Agra - my last city on this tour. It is my favourite place and the Taj Mahal holds a very special part in my heart. It is the most beautiful structure – marble mausoleum on the right bank of the Yamuna River. We went at sunrise which is in my opinion is the best time of day to see it. Ramesh’s care and consideration of me and his expert knowledge throughout my tour was truly sensational. We laughed everyday and enjoyed each other’s company. He makes me feel as though I am his family, people such as Ramesh are very rare in life. I am so very fortunate to have met him and travelled with him. He is a very special person with a massive heart, nothing is too much trouble he is always giving his best at all times. I am so grateful to have travelled with Ramesh once again and will do so again in 2025. I very lucky to now hold a 5 year Indian Visa and will take full advantange of it travelling with Ramesh as much as possible. He takes great care with his appearance and presents himself amazingly everyday. He takes great pride in his car and spends every morning cleaning it and preparing for his clients. I look forward to my next visit to India in 2025 and most certainly will be travelling with Ramesh once again!!

Memorable Visit to Uttarakhand - With Rameshbhai - We had a very good experience with Ramesh bhai during our 7 day trip in Uttarakhand . He was always discreet, friendly, helpful and always on time. His car (Innova Crysta) was always clean and had extra leg space in the back for a relaxed traveling experience.Ramesh bhai always wanted to offer the best service for us and to make our trip as safe and comfortable as it could be. We felt very good with his calm and concentraded driving skills - especially in the loud and full indian cities. We highly recommend his service and would always book with him again.

Golden Triangle - Golden Triangle An amazing 10 day trip as Ramesh expertly navigated the busy roads from Delhi to Agra to Jaipur. We travelled in a spotlessly clean,comfortable car to each destination and at Ramesh's suggestion lots more in between. Great restaurant recommendations Nothing too much trouble. Excellent timekeeping & a nice friendly service. If you are looking to travel in India Ramesh should be your amazing driver.! Terrific Toot toot!

Amazing Experience with Ramesh - Would highly recommend Ramesh again! We travelled New Delhi and Agra with Ramesh, and he truly became like family. He was a great help, and more than a tour guide. He was extremely knowledgable and hospitable, and stayed with us through some unplanned hospital trips in the middle of the night as well. Amazing gentleman!

Incredible experience! - With my family, we have been with Ramesh for 4 days in Delhi and Agra during the last week of January 2024. The trip was incredible! I can't express how helpful and professional he was. We had a great experience with him. He was with us throughout our trip, from the airport to the airport, looking after us like family. At the same time, he was very knowledgeable about Delhi, Agra and the surrounding area. Even though we had a hospital episode (which he wasn't familiar with), he stayed with us throughout the night, as we were unfamiliar with the places and the system. Ramesh is Great - Ramesh Uncle is number one Superstar, he is a great driver even when he couldn't see anything in the fog. He is very funny and loving towards each person. Himachal Pradesh Journey by car - For our two week trip, Ramesh Kumar drove us to Delhi, Dolanji, Dharamsala and back. He was a skilled driver, and he knew many stops for sightseeing, meals, and breaks. We greatly appreciated his commentary.

Pilgrimiage India - We were a group of 30 people, 5 of us got to go with Ramesh Kumar. He was our driver from Delhi to Dolanji, then to Dharmasala and back to Delhi. He knows perfectly well the roads, the stops so we could rest with the best toilets, chai and food ☺️. We had a lot of fun, a trip road of 20 or more hours went fast with lots of laughs, jokes, sight seeing, explanations of the places, sharing. Thank you Ramesh for such a beautiful trip, we are very grateful!!

A competent driver and guide - We booked a 10 day custom designed trip (Delhi-Jaipur-Ranthambore-Agra-Lucknow) for a family of 5 with Ramesh driving us to and within the cities. The 6 seater car (with a roof rack) was new, spacious and comfortable. We found Ramesh to be punctual, very particular about maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and a competent driver on Indian roads. In the tourist circuits, he was knowledgeable about tourist attractions and safe restaurants enroute, though less so in Lucknow which is not a tourist destination. Ramesh has a great deal of experience mostly with tourists who, unlike us, are on package tours or visit the usual sites at a leisurely pace. Ramesh was quick to give advice/suggestions and negotiate prices which were sometimes helpful but not altogether disinterested.
