First, you will take the 30-minutes bus drive to Machu Picchu; upon arrival at the main gate, you need to show your Machu Picchu entrance ticket and original passport to enter the citadel. Once inside, your private tour guide will take a walk to the Sungate or Inca Bridge first. Then, start exploring the best of Machu Picchu, stone temples, aqueducts, terraces, palaces, and explain Machu Picchu’s history. When you finish with the guided tour, you can choose to stay exploring on your own, or you can take the bus down to Aguas Calientes and return to Cusco.

Excellent tour - We just had our private guided tour of Machu Picchu yesterday and we loved it. Everything went to plan and our guide, Toro, was great!
He called me the night before to coordinate and met us right outside the Aguas Calliantes train station. From there on he was with us for next 5.5 hrs till we were back at train station. He went in the bus with us and then gave a very nice tour and came back with us. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and didn't hurry us even a bit. We could go at our pace and he even took a lot of pictures for us. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Fully recommended.

Above and Beyond Guide - Our guide Toribio went above and beyond for us. We purchased tickets through JoinUs but they never arrived and he knew exactly what to do to get our tickets in time.
He was excellent and communicated with us before the tour and even brought us to lunch after.
As for the guided tour itself, he knew where to take all the best pictures and get us there before the crowds. He happily took many pictures of us and had amazing information about the history. He also answered all of our questions and I highly recommend you use him for a guide. He was the best.

Amazing tour experience! - Our guide Toribio was INCREDIBLE! He met us the night before at our hotel to prep a game plan since we had tickets for Machu Picchu scheduled for early in the morning. We were having issues with our tickets, and he went above and beyond to get it resolved for us. The tour itself was full of rich history & photos at all the great spots. Couldn’t imagine doing Machu Picchu without this tour! 10/10 recommend.

Thank you Trexperience! - Our private guide for Machu Picchu, Ruben, was absolutely amazing. He was on time, and cared for us by making sure we would not have any issues throughout the day. He was informative and funny and most especially ensured my family had a great time, fulfilling our dream to see the Citadel of Machu Picchu in the best way.

Excellent guided tour of Machu Picchu with Bull! - Our guide Toro supported us at all times, since we arrived at the train station in Aguascalientes was attentive to take us to the hotel and from there we stayed to see at the starting point to climb Machu Picchu, took many very good photos, told us very well about the story, but especially his sense of humor was great. He made a pleasant experience of this wonderful day.

Machu Picchu Holds my Heart. - Gregory was, by far, the best guide. His English was impeccable and he even caught my oldest daughter's sarcastic humour. he grew up in the area and is passionate about sharing his knowledge of this Wonder of the World. Gregory did not rush us and took amazing pictures of us at Machu Picchu. I am eternally grateful for Gregory and his quick work to make my boyfriend's proposal the most memorable moment of my life. You are the BEST Gregory!'

Personal Tour with Juan de Dios is a gem! - Juan de Dios was so thoughtful and caring from the moment we arrived in Aguas Calientes. He gave us tips and helped us to our hotel. He made getting to Machu Pichu so smooth, guiding us through the bus busyness and answering questions in preparation. At Machu Pichu Juan shared a wealth of foundational knowledge and it was clear he is a seasoned professional.
He also had very thoughtful and informative responses to our questions on Incan life ways and social structure and the lWe really appreciated his humble yet very wise and educated manner. He made sure we had time to see everything we wanted and was mindful of helping us to space ourselves out from the crowds to feel the essence and magnificence of Machu Pichu. We had many incredible moments there because of his personal touch. We are very grateful for Juan de Dios’ guidance and we highly recommend tu take his personal tour!

Amazing private tour of Machu Picchu - This was a fabulous private tour of Machu Picchu. Reny was our guide, and he was knowledgeable, passionate about history and culture, and wonderfully helpful in guiding my mom and I through this wonder of the world. Reny made sure we had our bus tickets sorted to get up the hill, got us through the right entrance line, and led us on an informative tour of Machu Picchu, with lots of opportunities to take photos. He stayed with us through the long queue to get back down the hill, and did not leave us until he was sure we knew where the train station was and how to get around town.
This experience was truly incredible, and I felt very lucky we had Reny there to show us the ropes. I'd recommend this tour/this company to anyone looking to enhance their Machu Picchu experience.

Amazing private tour - My mom and I had an amazing time with Reny! He grabbed us from the train station, then took us directly to the bus line. I had a small snafu with getting my bus tickets, but Reny was able to call his office and sort it out quickly. Once we got to the entrance of Machu Picchu, Reny helped us get through the right line, and we were off! He was super knowledgeable about the geography, history, and significance of Machu Picchu, which is such an amazing place. He took a bunch of great photos for my mom and I, and kept us moving along at a nice pace (I would tend to just linger and stare in awe so it was great to have him tell us, “okay, let’s go see the next spot”). Reny also stood with us in the obnoxiously long line for the bus back down the hill, then made sure we knew how to get to the train station and find food and souvenirs. He was calm, engaged, and willing to answer all of our (many) questions! I’d 1000% recommend this tour to anyone wanting a more private experience of seeing Machu Picchu. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m glad we had such a thoughtful tour guide to lead the way.
