- Amazoonico Animal Rescue Centre - At 8 am, guests will be picked up for free in a private vehicle from the surrounding areas of Tena to the riverside. The “Full Day Amazoonico 360°” experience includes tubing or kayaking down the Arajuno River. Upon arrival at “Amazoonico,” an animal rescue center, visitors have the wonderful opportunity to observe Amazonian wildlife and support their care. A box lunch will be provided on the riverbank. Later, in a motorized canoe, the tour continues to Anaconda Island, where an indigenous family will welcome guests with a blowpipe demonstration, chicha preparation, and tasting before heading to the caiman swamp for a chance to see the hoatzin bird. Free transport back to the surrounding areas of Tena is included.
