Sweets, history, some wine, and a nice guide - This foodie tour is a good introduction to the delicious treats you’ll find around Aix-en-Provence. We stopped at a few places where we sampled some sweets, but my favorite was the macarons from Macarons de Caroline. They were so good I ended up buying some. Our guide, Ted, was really nice and thoughtful. He knew that there’d be a long line for the madeleines at Christophe, so he bought some for us ahead of time. On our last stop, we had some wine with Charcuterie and we spent some time chatting. Thanks for your time and effort, Ted.

The local experience - Great selection of shops where we had tasters. Ted has great relationships with these places, even knowing all the chocolates at the chocolatilier! Thoroughly recommend

Edouard made this tour... - Edouard made this tour delightful. Along with introducing us to the sweets of Aix, we had wonderful stories and bits of history thrown in. To finish the tour, we had a tasty stop at a wine and cheese bar. Fun evening. Great recommendations from Edouard for all types of great restaurants.

Sweets and cheese tasting! - Ted was an interesting guide, and the chocolate and the cheese board were scrumptious. I wish there were a few more savory options available and less candy/sweets.

Tasting tour - Edouard gave an interesting tour that focused on sweets then ended with a great charcuterie and glass of wine. But, as a “foodie” I appreciate more detail about each speciality than just a tasting. Otherwise, the tour was well organized and I appreciated him pointing out interesting local facts along the way

Great insider information - Our guide Ted took us to the best places for chocolates, macarons, nougat and pralines! But the most amazing sweet was the fresh madeleines! Melt in your mouth and delicious!!! We finished with wine and cheese at Fromagerie du Passage…which we loved! And then he got us into Le Medusa where the food was delicious and the owner chose the wine for us. Highly recommended.
