Wonderful relaxing morning in the Provence - We met with Clemence at the meeting point near the rondelle close to Cours Mirabeau, then he drove us with the other guests (some already in the car from Marseille) towards the family owned Lavender store near their field. Here, the owned explained in french, which then Clemence translated, the difference between “Lavande” and “Lavandin”, the plant “imortelle” and their particular beneficial properties. They had a charming shop, I bought essential oils and soaps. Afterwards, he drove us to the lavender fields. It’s one of those experiences that one has to be there to understand the beauty. The fields he took us to was calm and beautiful. He picked a spot where there were not too many tourists, so we can take awesome pictures. There were rows and rows of fully blooming lavender. The whole scenery is like a postcard, but better, because of the pleasant lavender scent that surrounds us, and the faint sound of buzzing bees which I found strangely calming. The bees did not attack at all, they were busy going from flower to flower. He also took as to another lavender field, which was equally mesmerizing. It was a hot day, so I suggest bring a hat, a bottle of water and a fan. Then Clemence took us to a lovely small town, Valensole. We stopped there for a short time to explore and then he drove us back to the city. Clem was very nice, he explained everything fluently and making sure we’re comfortable. We had a wonderful experience, thank you for showing us the beauty of the Provence.

Amazing Lavender Field Tour - Our tour experience was amazing, and a huge part of that is thanks to our lovely and very informative tour guide - Jenny. We learned so much from her regarding the history of the Provence region, as well as the origin and uses of many native Provence herbs and plants. She stopped at three lavender fields for us, and even was able to find us two sunflower fields! She also let us explore the town of Valensole to try/buy some lavender products. Highly recommend this tour - it was well worth the price.

Fun tour, great drive and a morning to remember! - The tour guide stopped at various spots and showed us the best ways to capture this beautiful landscape. Also, to kick off the trip, a visit to an organic farm that produced a number of lavender products.

We'll come back. Highly Recommended - We are a group of 4, booked with Bonjour Provence Tour for a 9 hours excursion from cruise port in Toulon, France. It is easy to book online and final payment is only due on the day of the trip. Our plan was to visit lavender and sunflower fields in Valensole and UNESCO city Aix-en-Provence in early July. We are very grateful to book our trip with Bonjour Provence Tour Company. It was a Sunday trip and there are not a lot of company will go to Toulon to do the excursion. Most of the company are based in Aix-en-Provence, Marceille or Nice. Silvio is very accommodating and tried his best to fit into our plan. He answered every questions and replied with all the advices that are really helpful in our planning. Before our excursion, he even sent us an email notifying us that the harvest was early. We really appreciate his advance notification that we will not get disappointed when we arrived at the field. He offered that we can change our plan to visit somewhere else. But we chose to stick with our plans. Our driver Marlon came before our meeting time 8:30 a.m., very punctual and was standing outside the gate with a sign in his hand already. The minivan was very spacious for 4 of us and he helped me a lot when I was getting off the van. He is very kind. Thanks. Marlon is very good in history and gave us a lot of info during the trip about the lavender, sunflower, history of Aix-en-Provence. He took us to a lavender field that they have lavender ice-cream. O my, this is the best lavender ice-cream that we ever had. Thanks Marlon. In Aix-en-Provence, he toured and walked with us, brought us to a local bakery and we had the best croissant, apricot tart, apple tart and baguette sandwich in the Aix-en-Provence. He acted as our translator and helped us a lot during the visit. Thanks Marlon. After our visit to Aix-en-Provence, Marlon drove us to Marceille and gave us a city tour in the car. He dropped us to Notre Dame de la Garde. The church is so beautiful and the panoramic view from the church is stunning. Now we know that next time for sure we have to go back to Marceille and for sure with Bonjour Provence Tour. No second thoughts. We had a wonderful time with him and BP tour. He are able to arrive back to the cruise port on time. Please let me extend our appreciation on behalf of our group to BP Tour that may we wish you every success and prosperity with your business.

He also offered to take pictures for everyone in our group. It was an absolutely perfect day. We went in late June, and the sights and smells did not disappoint. Do this tour!
