Additional Information
Because if you go to the lavender fields to take pictures, the golden light is between 8pm and 9:30pm. During the day the light is very strong and it can be very hot. We will leave Aix-en-Provence at 4:45pm so we can catch the nice sunset when we get to Valensole plateau. The trip to get there is around 45 minutes.
You will be surrounded by fields of lavender, the famous Provençal scented plant, abound here.
We will also stop in a lavender distillery along the way where you have the opportunity to buy products directly from the producers; and we will leave you some free time in the village of Valensole.
The best time for lovers of typical Provençal landscapes to visit is middle of June to end of July, when Valensole plateau is awash with beautiful blue lavender in bloom. It’s a sight – and scent – to behold!

Lavender fields as far as you can see - Amazing views of so many lavender fields. Our tour guide Nicholas was knowledgeable and entertaining. Going at sunset was stunning and the weather was perfect.

Beautiful and memorable. - Both drivers were very helpful and kind. We had a very tight train schedule but the tour guide drove us all the way back to Marseilles. Merci!

I would come back and recommend it to all of my friends - We’ve been to 6 or 7 lavender fields - all of them were magnificent. So beautiful, I kept smiling like a fool - you can’t help it in this magical place✨

Very nice trip, outstanding guide - Paul is a very knowledgeable and kind guide, we had a great time. He took great care to scout the best lavender fields, also he is a very safe and skillful driver!

Once in a lifetime experience for those from USA - Fantastic trip. Lavender fields were extraordinary. Silvio did a great job driving us around to find the best colors and lighting during the last week of harvesting. Highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience.

Great Tour - A great tour the lavender fields were incredible! The meet up was easy, we saw three different fields and all were amazing,
If I had one change, I would make it shorter and skip the lavender shop & time to eat. I had kids with me and we were exhausted. But overall, definitely worth it!

The majesty of lavendar - It was a very hot day and A/C in our van was not good at all. We were all very hot but the lavender was beautiful and we were taken to many fields and were not rushed.
