Ellora Caves - Known historically as Elura or Elapura, Ellora is a revered site in Maharashtra, central India. The Ellora Caves are also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Daulatabad Fort - Perched on a hill, Daulatabad was constructed in the 14th century. Its initial owner was Muhammad Bin Tughluq, who relocated people from Delhi to this fort. However, due to water scarcity, it was abandoned after two years. The fort, standing 200 meters high on a conical hill, has a single narrow bridge entrance that accommodates only two people at a time. Notable structures within the fort include Chand Minar, Chini Mahal, and Baradari. Chand Minar was built by Alauddin Brahman Shah in 1435 AD.
Bibi Ka Maqbara - Did you know there’s a replica of the Taj Mahal in Aurangabad? Azam Shah, son of Aurangzeb, commissioned this monument in honor of his mother, Begum Rabia Durani. It closely resembles the renowned Taj Mahal, the mausoleum of his grandmother, Mumtaz Mahal, and is known as Bibi Ka Maqbara.
