Fantastic experience we highly recommend - George and Eni were incredible. I highly recommend this tour and cannot say enough positive things about our experience. We had such a great time on the tour. George customized our tour based on our interests. The yacht was large and comfortable. I am 6’2 and could stand up fully in the cabin below deck. We swam and snorkeled and took in all the gorgeous views. George and Eni gave us insightful history and fun facts of the area. Eni had drinks for us available at every moment. She also created a tasty meal for us. We were both very happy with our experience on this tour.

The islands were very... - The islands were very beautiful. The captain did an excellent job telling us about all the places we stopped. The captain was very attentive and the food was amazing!!

Great tour choice for couples or small group - We had an amazing time with Georgios which is a local and Ana made this trip memorable. It was a 5 hour trip including a stop for lunch which lucky us it made it before all the big boats came in for lunch. He knew where to go and which places to avoid due to the crowds. the boat was super clean and comfortable. they had plenty of drinks, waters, towels, etc.

Incredible Tour with Incredible People - If you're visiting Santorini, do not miss the opportunity to experience this private tour! You will get to see the islands of Thira, Thirassia, Aspronissi, Palea and Nea Kameni from a distinct perspective while being treated spectacularly by the crew of the yacht, who are great company! It was the perfect way to beat the July heat, with snorkeling and feeling the wind as you travel from stop to stop. Drinks and snacks included are just the cherry on top of this delightful experience.

Great Experience - Our day with Captain Georgios and Annie was unforgettable. They are very personable and accommodating. They are putting a lot of effort into becoming the best private yacht tour in Santorini. We really enjoyed the relaxing setting of the private yacht over the loud parties on the catamarans we saw. However they will accommodate whatever mood you are looking for. They will make sure you have a drink if you want one, you can control the music. They provide WiFi and Bluetooth for music. They are very knowledgeable about the different areas around the caldera. We enjoyed many beautiful scenic swims and a beautiful sunset. The crew went above and beyond with taking care of us. They were not worried about timing since we were the last tour for the day. We felt like we were cruising with 2 of our friends. We highly recommend Santorini Golden Yacht and hope they continue to grow the business and keep it personable like this. Also our drivers who picked us up and dropped us off were great too.

Cancelled at short notice - Simply unreliable - We researched this Santorini private cruise and initially greatly impressed with the online reviews displayed. It was to be our “splash out” spend to celebrate the end of our short time on the island after difficult times. Sadly 1 star only as they turned out to be untrustworthy. A day before travelling to Santorini, I received a call from the cruise operator himself to ask if I could switch our booking to the following evening. Advising them that we were flying at sunset on the following day, we were told “no problem”. A day before the trip was planned, I was about to contact the cruise operator to obtain pick up details. Instead, we received notice in an email from Tripadvisor to say that our tour had been cancelled with no reason given. There was no contact from the cruise team personally to apologise - just a dry, matter of fact email from Tripadvisor. On the one hand the cruise operator had been keen to make an international call to ask us to change dates but didn’t have the courage or civility to make a local call to us in order to cancel - instead they hid behind Tripadvisor and ducked out. I feel it is possible that the international phone call before we travelled to persuade us to change the cruise was linked to the subsequent late cancellation. Why the one star when we didn’t even go on the cruise…..? 1. Disappointment - We were excited for the event, the cancellation was late - leaving us disappointed and unable to easily seek a similar private option. 2. Failure for the company to have the civility to apologise to us in person. (They obviously knew my phone number….!) 3. A warning to others. I certainly wouldn’t have the confidence to book these guys again. The customer service was substandard for any service let alone one as expensive as this and the disappointment this caused for our holiday was significant - so I feel entirely justified in the rating. 4. They may do great cruises when it’s convenient to them, but when we go back to the island (and we hope may be possible, as it's a fantastic place) I can’t trust them in the future not to cancel at short notice….. so good luck to future clients. So we won’t try booking again. If you are thinking of booking, I hope you’re not treated the way we were.
