Good Work! - I love the work they do to rehabilitate zoo, circus, and illegally housed animals. Hats off to Mexico for making it illegal to profit off of wildlife. You are miles ahead of the U.S,

Great experience at the animal sanctuary - We loved this tour! They are doing wonderful work with animals needing rescue. Very dedicated. The interactive experiences were great and done with much respect for the animals. We bought the photos and they were emailed to us within 24 hours. Just had to download from a link. They were well worth the cost.

Monkeys! So Great! - Fantastic experience! I mean MONKEYS - what else do you need in life? Our guide Oscar was very knowledgeable and made the experience so pleasurable. Thank you for all you are doing for the animals. Cannot recommend enough.

Great experience - The sanctuary is great, the animals in their care seem well taken care of, Angel was a great guide, great knowledge of the animals. It is great to see a center such as this rescuing all the different animals and giving them a better home.

Touching experience, physically and emotionally! - Booking a pickup and drop off might make this tour unnecessarily pricey. Viator advises that ride costs $60USD pp round trip from Playa del Carmen but the sanctuary only charges 300 pesos pp. So best to pay for the ride in pesos when you arrive at the sanctuary. The tour experience was excellent. I would give it five stars if it included some free time after the 2 hour tour. Would have liked more time with the animals.

Animal Sanctuary Experience - Overall, we had a good experience. The provided transportation was convenient, and the tour itself was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to hold some of the animals—it was a memorable highlight. However, it was disappointing that the promised snack was not provided as mentioned, which would have been a nice touch to complete the experience.

Definitely worth a visit! - Was not a good start. 40mins late on pickup. I don’t really know what happened. Explanation they provided was weird. Felt like they forgot about us. After arrival and check in, we were assigned to guide named Oscar. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly guide. My unhappy mood went away after attending his. Also I was very pleased to meet and listening stories/ history about all monkey. Cons: I wish photographers can take better pictures. I bought the $50 USD package because I wanted memories but after viewing the pictures, most of my pictures were not good. Eyes closed, blurry and terrible angles. Very disappointed.

A wonderful place doing great work, but beware of purchasing a photo! - Wonderful sanctuary doing great work that inspires and gives hope as the knowledgeable guides tell the stories behind the animals on display. At the front entrance, you can get very close to Ostriches and Zebras! It is a lush jungle walk, so be prepared for mosquitoes. The Flamingos stayed in their pond because their enclosure was overrun with fire ants! There are opportunities to touch some animals along the way. We paid extra for a dip in the Cenote, which was an experience! A word of caution, you may want to pass on the purchase of photos by their photographer, I've been home for a week and the picture has not arrived. It's supposed to be emailed after 24 hours, we assumed it would be ready at the end of our visit. I've been on the phone with them all week, I doubt I'll see the photo OR get my money back.

DON'T BUY THE PHOTOS - Transport and hour late. Tour was great. Bought pics which I never received and no way to contact them. If you book expect van issues and don't purchase the photos they take.
