Wonderful - Lots of tropical fishes underneath lagoon water. They were different colors, size, and species. Swimming with them is definitely amazing experience that I would never forget. I hope I can come back in the near future. Lots of tropical fishes underneath lagoon water, different colors, size, species. Great experience! - We very much enjoyed this activity. Maldo - our guide was great and the snorkeling in the cenote and cave were such a different and great experience. Snorkeling in the cove was also great, and there were a surprising number of fish! It can get a bit crowded, and many folks stir up the sediment, and it can get a little cloudy. This did not detract from our experience. We would definitely do it again!

Truly a Mayan adventure - Dear readers, this was an adventure…first of all “our boy Johnathon” was a fantastic guide…he made it so much more fun…he’s so affable, and a jokester! We started at the cenote where we got to free fall or zip line into it…it’s chilly water so be prepared. Then we went to the cave, where the stalagmites were amazing..this was incredible…water was cold, but I tried ignoring it since it was truly magical. There are bats flying around as well, added to the atmosphere. Then we had lunch, it was delicious, watch out for the spicy sauce, it’s a killer…then we headed to the lagoon..it was beautiful…we saw so many fish, crabs, and natural beauty. I highly recommend water shoes…and bring a change of clothes. Even with the rain we had a wonderful time.

Alejandro Sosa was the best and the cenotes were amazing! - We did this tour today 6/1/24 and it was recommended by some friends at our resort. Alejandro Sosa was our guide and he was absolutely incredible. The cenotes, lagoon at Akumal and even lunch were so amazing. Alejandro did such a good job of making sure we were safe and comfortable and he made the day so much better. Highly recommend this adventure and ask for Alejandro as he will ensure your day is the best! Thank you Alejandro for taking such good care of my wife and I! Zach

Don't miss this one ! 3 cenotes - Louis M was our guide for snorkelling in three different cenotes. He picked us up from the hotel and arranged all. Small groups of 12 people, he was great to guide us and explained very well. Great activities for any ages. No hassle & Great fun 👍 Don't miss this one. Highly recommended.

Interesting day - Lots of road if you are going from Cancun (or worse Costa Mujeres). So very long day... The sites belong to Mayan Adventures so the flow of tourists seemed well controlled. 3 sites: - Jumping platform + zipline Cenote in a cellar -Sea lagoon (millions of billions of sardines, that's impressive!) Equipment seemed adequate (I had mine) The lunch proposed (buffet) is OK but nothing extraordinary. Drinks could be more diversified Special mention to Luis, our guide. Very present, relevant and good humor. The photos offered are OVERPRICED. Take your own pictures!

Not a snorkle experience - This was quite a ride from our base, the Moon Palace. This was written up as a snorkling adventure. You only snorkle for about 45 minutes in a river inlet. There are several other van loads of people that get dropped off. So the water is packed with people. Not a relaxing snorle experience. Then we went to an open cenote...not a snorkling experience. They have a tiny zipline into the water and you can jump from the rocks. Not my thing. The cave cenote was beautiful, but again, packed with people. I would not do it again. Lots of time in a van. Pictures are overpriced. Way overpriced and not worth an entire day of vacation. Our driver Mario L. Was great, but the adventure was lacking.

Totally overpriced bulk handling - The whole thing is advertised as something very exclusive, so we were also willing to pay the very high price of over 400 US$ (2 adults, 1 child). However, we found that this is the usual mass handling. Whole parking lot full of buses and people. You were chased fast through the actually beautiful places. A whole carpet of people snorkeling and stirring up the water and scaring off the fish. The “full day trip” ended at 1:30 p.m. Price/performance ratio is absolutely wrong, the tour is not what is advertised and expected accordingly. I feel ripped off. Oh yes: the photos one of us took on site should have been bought for 75 US$.

Absolutely horrendous - Where do I even begin? First, we were told this was a 20-30 minute drive from our resort. Wrong! Try an hour and a half. And that was only to the Aventuras Maya’s “base camp” where we had to then get in another van that drove us another half hour to the first location. Upon arrival at the first location, we were quickly hearded like cattle (there had to be atleast 100 people there) to an outrageously crowded but tiny platform where you can either zip line or cliff jump into a Cenote. Me, being nervous and afraid to get hurt, opted to simply walk down the stairs into the frigid and murky waters. I made it down two steps before realizing that the rubber mat on the 3rd step was missing which then caused me to slip on the algae covered step and slice my foot open in two spots on a jagged piece of metal petruding from the step. I got out of the water, in pain and bleeding everywhere, and the first thing my tour guide said to me was “this is not refundable” I ignored that statement and asked for a first aid kit so I could wash my foot out. She begrudgingly came back with a tiny cup of ice water to pour on it and 1 singular bandaid that was toddler sized. She insisted on putting the bandaid on me and put it in the completely wrong spot and hurt me more while doing so. My tour guide then found me again and handed me a paper and forced me to sign it saying I am aware it is non refundable. And as crazy as I am, I am certainly not crazy enough to argue in the middle of the jungle over money in Mexico with strangers. So I reluctantly signed the paper. I was forced to sit out on the rest of the excursion and so was my poor husband who didn’t want to leave me alone to go snorkeling in the very gray, dull, and underwhelming waters of the glorified rain puddles they charged us $200 to take us to. The food they provided was barely edible as well, but that was the least of my worries. I read a few reviews on here saying these people don’t know the first thing about first-aid god forbid of an emergency, but I wrote it off. Thank god I was not more seriously injured because they didn’t even have a basic first-aid kit. All in all, it took almost 2 hours of travel to go to 2 different spots and do 30 min of each activity. It was SO rushed and there were SO MANY people. It was NOT enjoyable in the slightest even if I didn’t hurt myself. There is more stuff that happened, but this alone should be enough to deter someone from booking this. I urge you, reader, to find a better excursion to spend your money on. This one is NOT IT.
