Amazing. Hands Down. - My mother and I came and stayed at the Sandos Caracol resort for the first time last week, and it was both of our first time in mexico so we were little nervous about going on activities away from the resort. Neither of us knew how to snorkel, but once we took the short boat ride out to the reef, we got a quick how-to and we were off! We saw a beautiful green sea turtle, a large eel, swan with schools of fish including angelfish, blue tang, and damselfish. We saw long stingrays and even a lobster. Our guide Aureliano was excellent and kept a buoy with him for those who needed to hold on. He really helped to calm my mom, who is a reluctant swimmer and first-time snorkeler. Honestly one of the best experiences I've even had. The water was so clear, and the visibility was better than any water I have ever seen! If I ever get to go back to Mexico this will be at the top of my to-do list.

This tour was amazing. Only complaint... -
This tour was amazing. Only complaint is it did not last long enough lol. Raul Torres was the best tour guide I have ever had and Dolores took the best pictures. Highly recommend!!! Since you cannot wear flippers at either location, I recommend you wear swim shoes. Also - no sunscreen allowed so wear a swim shirt.
