Loved the turtles! Tulum was HOT!!!! - We had an excellent morning with our guide Oscar. He picked us up in a beautiful, comfortable, and clean Mercedes. I wanted to go to Tulum first because I knew it would be really hot but he recommended we go swim with the turtles first because they clear out pretty quickly after the crowds get there. I'm so glad we took his advice! We saw SOOOOOOO many turtles of all sizes, beautiful fish, and even a few sting rays. My husband, myself, and our turtle guide were pretty much the only people in the water while we were snorkeling with the turtles from 8-9am. As we were leaving, there was literal bus-loads of people coming to snorkel with the turtles. The peaceful time we got to spend with the turtles by ourselves was magical. Go early! After snorkeling we headed to Tulum. Oscar is a certified guide and he was fantastic. He knew a ton about the history of the archeological site. The ruins were amazing; perched on the top of a hill overlooking crystal clear blue waters. Oscar said the original people described the area as "hell," and after spending over an hour in/around Tulum, I can understand why. We were there from 9:30-11am touring the ruins and the shops nearby. We're from South Texas where we regularly have high humidity and temperatures over 100 degrees the whole summer. Tulum was excruciatingly hot! Unbelievably, indescribably HOT! Did I mention it was HOT!!!!!!!?????? SOOOOOOOO HOOTTTTTTTT! Seriously, I almost passed out, and there was a young girl at the front entrance to the ruins that actually did pass out and medics were there to help her. Thankfully, Oscar had ice cold waters ready for us in the car when we got back, otherwise that might have been me also. Oscar gave us plenty of time after our tour to wander around the shops, and then we made it back to our resort by noon. If I could change anything I think I might have done the tour to include the cenotes afterwards because that would have really helped to cool us down after the ruins, but other than that we had a perfect morning with Oscar!

Tulum+swimming with turtles tour - Our tulum + swim with turtles tour with Oscar with so fun! We learned so much about the Mayan ruins. Oscar was very knowledgeable and was so nice to provide us with umbrellas for the sun. Definitely recommend the swim with turtles activities ! It was a lot of fun. Thank you Oscar!!

Highly recommend - Highly recommend this tour! It absolutely was the highlight of our trip!! Arnie was the best guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and made it truly enjoyable. We will be coming back next year and will definitely request Arnie 😊 Thank you for a magical day.

Perfect day! - Book it! You won’t be sorry. This excursion was perfect! The communication with the company was top tier and our guide, Heriberto, was so accommodating and knowledgeable. We saw many turtles and The centoes we visited we had all to ourselves. Our guide took photos for us on our phones all day so we could enjoy the experience. It was truly a magical day!

Juan rules!!!! - Juan was INCREDIBLE!!! We wish we could’ve hung out with him longer! He was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I would definitely take another tour with him!

Best part of an incredible vacation - Oscar was an amazing guide. Swimming with the turtles was a magical experience and we were able to get incredible pictures. The cenotes tour was otherworldly and his commentary was insightful and so educational! I highly recommend him, he is fantastic!

Perfect Half Day - Our trip with Eric was a highlight of the vacation. Getting to the turtles and the beautiful reef before the crowds was fantastic and the 2 cenotes choices were excellent. The best part of the tour was Eric. He knew so much history and I loved hearing every bit of information he offered as we went from spot to spot.

Great tour! - Arnie was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. We visited Akumal to see sea turtles first. We saw several along with some stingrays. The cenotes we visited were not crowded and beautiful. Arnie took us through a cenote cave with snorkels and flashlights. Highly recommend!! Maria with Quest was very responsive and helpful with setting up arrangements the day prior to tours (pick up time/location/guide name). Overall, very well run.

Best tour and guide! - Communication over email beforehand with Gabby was prompt and helpful. Our driver and guide Aranza was amazing. He tailored the day to our preferences perfectly and was very knowledgeable about local ecology and history. It was kismet that he lived in Vancouver where we are from for a while and we had some great conversations on a wide range of topics. At Akumal, Oscar took snorkeling and we saw many beautiful sea turtles, sea urchins, rays, star fish and so many beautiful fish. The first cenote we went to we had entirely to ourselves. So tranquil and peaceful. Jumping in was fun. The second underground cenote was breathtaking. The crystal clear water and stunning limestone cavern and caves were amazing. Aranza gave us a guided snorkel tour which was incredible. Aranza was keen to take us somewhere for lunch too, but we opted to go back to our hotel instead. 100% recommended! Perfecto!
