Excellent walk - Very good tour, very complete and the best was our guide Tom who explained everything very well and to enjoy the tour with jokes, highly recommended

Geothermal Terrain - Mars on Earth - Although we traveled to numerous sites (Waterfalls, Mountain Peaks, Massive Lakes) the single spot that was must memorable was the Geothermal terrain. It was like being on another planet.

Worth it! - Our guide Asa and driver Eugen were great. Godafoss Falls were amazing. I learned a lot and we had multiple opportunities to stop and enjoy where we were as well as numerous photo ops. This was a highlight of my trip.

Confused meeting point location - Wonderful rock formations, godafoss falls, one I didn’t like is having 2 different locations. We chose the visitor’s center but no bus waiting for us. We walked back to the port and the bus was there all along. Bus should have labels

Wonderful Tour - Tour began a little due to a problem with the tour bus, but the problem was resolved quickly. We saw beautiful country and hot springs. They gave us a snack. The driver and tour guide were both great.

We were upgraded to the... - We were upgraded to the longer tour and saw additional waterfalls. The first waterfall was fabulous and we needed more than 45 minutes there to make up up both sides of the waterfall. It is also the only stop where you could purchase food or gifts and only 45 minutes into the tour. There is no other place to do so on this 8 hour tour. We stopped for 45 minutes by the woods and were given a chicken salad sandwich and sugary orange juice. Take your own food. Why 45 minutes in the middle of no where? The next waterfall was great, and we found there was a second, prettier waterfall to the right. The tour guide was subpar. His commentary to boring in his monotone voice, often falling at the end and hard to hear. He always waited until we were at a stop before giving time and wasn't clear in his speech. I heard 80 minutes, my daughter heard 8 minutes and the man next to us heard 18 minutes.

Disappointment - Do not book in advance if you are coming by cruise ship. We were unable to dock in Sept. 2024 due to strong storm. We heard this at 8 am, so too late to cancel for free. We have shared our experience with many other passengers. A number of them received their money back immediately via a booking with local organization. Of course we emailed with Tripadvisor, but they did not offer any concession, e.g. discount on a next booking e.g.
