Personable and cuddly - Gunni and his wife were absolutely spectacular and very welcoming. My fiance and I were the only ones there which made it super personal. Gunni and his wife were beyond knowledgeable on huskies and it was nice to hear how they went from owning 1 pup to owning 21 of them! I highly recommend this and even tho I didn't take a sledding tour I know that would be amazing as well! Book this today!

Husky Heaven - Do not hesitate in booking this, it is a slice of heaven on earth. The pups are wonderful, you will fall in love instantly. The humans in charge are an amazing couple, living their best life in one of the most beautiful spots on the planet. Go, soak in the Husky love, your heart will grow ten sizes, it is pure zen being amongst these gorgeous creatures. One of my favourite days ever, can't wait to see them all again. Utter bliss.

Highlight of our trip north - From the moment Gunni greeted us at our hotel to take us to his husky wonderland, we felt a warm local connection. He has such a love for what he does and a great manner setting up what to expect. When we arrived the dogs were all waiting for us, tails wagging. I could have cried with joy. I’ve loved huskies my whole life and have never been around so many. It’s amazing what this family is doing and seeing them in their home element is incredible. Highly recommend a stop here. PS: the view is stunning, too! Would love to come back for some husky therapy.

Great visit - Had a great visit, enjoyed the dog and the story of it all came to be. The landscape was beautiful and the owners so friendly and kind!

All the love - As a dog lover, this was the absolute perfect experience. All of the dogs showed their distinct personalities and shared their love as they wanted, which was a lot.

Fantastic experience - What a wonderful experience my husband and I had whilst on holiday (cruising to Iceland from the UK June in 2023). Such a lovely friendly visit Gunnar, his daughter and friend were also very charming. We were picked up promptly at the port by a friend of the family who walked one of the Huskey dogs at the pier so we could recognise him. The driver was very informative and a lovely person too. Gunnar is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Very well informed and the love for the dogs was so wonderful to witness. Every dog was in beautiful condition and looked loved in every way possible. A special treat was seeing the puppies too who were playful and SO stunning (beautiful facial markings). We also met Gunnar's daughter a charming friendly young lady who was a pleasure to be around. Unfortunately, we didn't meet Gunnar's wife due to work her work commitments but we felt we knew her by the lovely loving stories Gunnar told us about his wife. We were offered refreshments but didn't take Gunnar up on the coffee due to just getting off the ship after breakfast. For anyone planning to do this tour a top tip refrain from the coffee on the ship and wait until you get to Gunnar house. I would highly recommend this tour. It is a totally different experience and well worth the cost (which in Icelandic terms, was great value). I would go back in a heartbeat. Amazing day with huskies! - We had an amazing day with Gunnar, María, and the huskies. The hosts are so gracious, warm, and feel like friends you've know for years. Their huskies are amazing. So sweet, love being petted and seek out affection. The energy in the house is so calm even though there are 20 huskies and 3 puppies. You can see how loved and well cared for the dogs are. Amazing time and great dogs - Amazing time with the huskies and we were very lucky to see the 9 week old puppies!!! All the dogs are so friendly and love to be pet and cuddled. The hosts were very welcoming and very friendly. Their knowledge of the dogs, dog sledding, and Iceland in general definitely added to the experience. I loved everything about it, and highly recommend for others who are dog lovers and wanting to learn about dog sledding.

Amazing experience - This was such an amazing experience all around, could not have asked for better! Will definitely be recommending this to anyone who visits Iceland and I plan to be back again next time I am on town!

An amazing Close Encounter with Huskies - This is what all experiences should aim for, fantastic welcome, gentle introduction to the huskies with very interesting details about the animals and a tour of their home. We then spent close to an hour petting all 18 huskies. We were encouraged to take photos and ask anything about the animals - hot fresh coffee was great too. We were shown products that they were waving from the husky hair but there was no pressure or expectation to buy anything. The owners are clearly passionate about the animals and the business - they are friendly and welcoming - their English is perfect. We booked the activity for my teenage nieces and they have not stopped talking about the experience. I highly recommend this experience - I look forward to doing it again when my grandchildren visit 🙏
