Sysli - Helga - will be back. 🙏🏽 - Cancelled cruise package and booked with sysli at the last minute from ship. Helga our driver arrived in a clean well equipped Benz(V) (with WiFi). Being local with family and home and grown daughter zoom by (🤗) proved to be an excellent guide who was courteous and patient with lots of information about the area as we travelled to the falls, stopping in strategic spots with info only a local would know like ❤️ . We will definitely use Sysli Travel again on any future trip to Iceland.
As far as the cost (another review), we forwarded the cruise savings to Helga as we believe she was more than worth the experience.

A nice day out in Akureyri - Our driver (and guide) Mike was amazing, very informative and kind. He made our trip a memorable one. Port pick up and drop was super easy. The route he took and the spots he stopped on the way were great for pictures. Thank you so much for the amazing day.

Sysli Travel Tour to Godafoss Waterfalls - Our best guided sightseeing tour to an attraction in Iceland by far. Toti our driver arrived in a clean well equipped vehicle (with WiFi) directly from our cruise ship. Toti proved to be an excellent guide who was courteous and patient with lots of information about the area as we travelled to the falls. We will definitely use Sysli Travel again on any future trip to Iceland.

Private tour with perfect guide - We booked a last minute 7am tour. We had the falls all to ourselves. Our private guide also took us through the 5mile tunnel and stopped inside to show us the inside cavern with details and photos of how it was made. The big bus tours dont do this.

Waterfall of the Gods - worth a visit - We met our guide and driver, Mike, at the port of Akureyri and took the drive to Godafoss Falls, approximately 45 minutes. Along the way Mike kept us entertained, telling us about the tunnel and surrounding landscape. The waterfall is pretty and well worth visiting. It is not a high waterfall but is known as Waterfall of the Gods, which shows it is impressive. On the return, Mike took us around the old part of Akureyri so we were able to view old style homes. A great way to spend a morning and experience this area.
