Embark on an exciting day trip through captivating desert landscapes on your way to the UNESCO-recognised ‘Garden City’, Al Ain. Upon reaching, you’ll first visit Qasr Al Muwaiji, the birthplace of the late Sheikh Khalifa, the former President of UAE. Next, venture to the restored Old Palace of the late Sheikh Zayed, Abu Dhabi’s first ruler and the founding President of UAE, to gain a fascinating perspective on local cultural customs. Your journey then takes you to the lauded Al Jahili Fort, where you’ll find a permanent display honouring the courageous British explorer Sir Wilfred Thesiger, who traversed Rub al-Khali, The Empty Quarter, twice in the 1940s. Procced next to the historical landmark of Al Ain Oasis, where your guide will educate you about the ancient Falaj, a subterranean irrigation system. Prior to exploring the region’s largest camel market, indulge in a delectable lunch. Lastly, visit the base of Jebel Hafeet Mountain to examine the renowned hot springs up-close, after which you’ll relish a comfortable drive back.

- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
- Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
