- Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum - Qasr al-Ain or “Al Ain Palace”, is one of the best-reinstated forts in the Abu Dhabi emirate. The museum showcases the everyday life in a ruler’s fort when the late Sheikh Zayed and his family resided in the palace prior to 1966. The Bedouin style architecture dates back to 1937 and was converted into a museum in 1998 as a main cultural and tourist attraction.
- Al Ain National Museum - The historic oasis sprawls across 3,000-acre and provides a unique insight into the region’s inhabitants who began taming the desert 4,000 years ago. The Al Ain Oasis has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, but only now, with the construction of an educational Eco-Centre and an extensive system of shaded pathways that wind through some 147,000 dates. The site houses up to 100 different varieties of vegetation that surround the impressive oasis, with widespread plantations that are also working farms. (Currently, the museum is closed for renovations).
- Camel Souk - Al Ain’s famous camel market is a wonderful immersion in traditional Arab culture. From young Arabian camels that might grow up to be racers to impressive adult camels ideal for breeding, the market is a one-of-a-kind experience to get a closer look at the animal that enjoys a special place in the Emirati heritage.

Jebel Hafit - Photo stop:
Rising 1,240 metres, Jebel Hafit is the emirate’s highest peak, and UAE’s second. This towering rocky height, which stands guard over Al Ain and borders Oman, is forged out of craggy limestone that has been weathered over millions of years. Significant fossil discoveries have been made in the area, which are vital pieces in the jigsaw of the city’s ancient history. - Green Mubazzarah - This green expanse at the foot of Jebel Hafeet is another spectacle that showcases the rich natural reserves of Al Ain. A popular hotspot for picnics and family outings, the Green Mubazzarah is packed with families out to enjoy the sun, adventurers trekking up the mountain and campers who can spend the night in tents at the base.

Simply recommended! - This tour is perfect if you want to leave Dubai and Abu Dhabi behind and get to know a new part of the UAE! Well planned, punctual, great fixed points, lots to see and marvel at! Very good lunch in a beautiful hotel - breathtaking views from the mountains! We were very lucky to be able to spend the day with Mr Sudath! Safe driver, very knowledgeable, lots of information and a few surprises - and he speaks perfect German! Thank you very much and as many times before, the best experience with "Get your guide" - we would be happy to do it again anytime!!!!!

Al Ain tour - This was a good tour & the driver was professional.
The mini van had a recorded audio tour which played as we drove. This was helpful and interesting. The fort at Al Ain was my highlight, the other stops were interesting.

Overall enjoyable way to spend the day - Good way to see a little bit about a number of places.
Time spent in each is less than 30 minutes, with approx 2-hr drive there and +2-hr back. The locations are such that sufficient is seen within those 30 minutes anyway, just don't dawdle.
The Guide is a recording that you listen to on the way from one location to the next. It's fine, although if you're like me, you're distracted by the sights while in the van/bus and only half-listening and the ability to ask questions is limited. The driver and associate who accompany on the travel are helpful, but not traditional "Tour Guides". That's not a complaint, just setting expectations.

I feared for my life - Pick up fine and guide and driver very pleasant. 2.5 hours journey to Al Ain. Arrived at the outskirts of the city and the driver and guide got completely lost. There was no sat nav in the vehicle but one of the passages used his phone. Driver and guide refused his help and said they knew where they were going. After 45 minutes we found the museum but then were pushed for time and the guide rushednus through. The rest of the trip was ok but the guide could not cope with questions not on the script! The highlight was the view from the mountain. On the way back I was concerned that the driver was tired and could see in the rear view mirror his eyes would close, he would then take a sip of Red Bull and shake himself awake. Then he got a phone call, and was very upset and angry. The guide tried to comfort him. It turns out he was fired. After this he did not care about soles limits and just went for it. Unfortunately on the out skirts of Abu Dhabi he got lost again. We were picked up at 08.30 and returned to our hotel at 19.30. The driver and guide had come over from Dubai so their day started 04.00 and ended at 00.00. All in all I am just happy to be alive.

Disappointed - This could have been a spectacular tour as the sites to visit on the tour are. However Dennis the man who supposedly labels himself a tour guide was useless. Firstly they were an hour late to collect myself & others on the tour with no apology extended. Dennis just took us to the locations & explained nothing. During the long periods in the bus when he could have been explaining the different areas & history he was more preoccupied with his phone. At Jebel Hafeet they didn't even bother to take us to the top & at Green Mubazzarah they drove in & out again without advising everyone they wouldn't stop. I would certainly recommend that people visit Al Ain but with a different tour company.
