Pathetic Red Dune desert Safari - I wish there was negative rating. It was such a horrendous experience that we would like to wipe it from our memory. Any one traveling to Dubai, please stay away from these fraudsters. We were deserted into chilling desert with kids horrified, and driver had no clue where to drive.. the operator had a poor communication and we all were making frantic calls here and there (international roaming) in panic as it also started getting darker. The package included 1/2 hrs dune bashing, costume/falcon photos, food etc., but there were charges for every thing.. there was not a single person in the camp whom you can requests any service or expect hospitality, but there were goons standing to collect money for every damn thing. If the horrific transfer to the camp was not enough, the dune bashing was completed in literally 5 minutes and then dumped into a refugee-like camp, crowded, unhygienic and believe me you had to make your own sitting arrangements and goons monitoring your work, yelling at you..
There were ~50 people queued to fetch one plate of snack, then again stand in queue to get food.. The quality of the food was pathetic and even basic hygiene not maintained.. however, not having the option to buy anything outside in this remote area, we ended up paying additional hefty amount to be able to get some food on priority... The whole staff was deployed to collect money, more money and even more money..
It would be an understatement to call this camp PATHETIC.
