Desert gate is the company to use!!! - From start to finish desert gate and hatim (our driver) were so professional and easy. Stress free. It was very obvious their hospitality was second to none. When we come back to Dubai I will most definitely use them again. Do not think twice and do yourselves a favour by using desert gate.

Wow - Thanks to my booker Amir for this fabulous experience I recommend. It's incredible. Superb support from all the teams. They take care of you and listen to you, everything is on time, departure on time directly from the hotel and return to your hotel also at the scheduled time.

Safe driver and faultless experience! - Nissar was very kind, thoughtful and efficient during our first meeting till the very end of drop off. He accommodated me and my family from toilet stops, the speed of the dunes experience and seating us at our dinner table. He explained everything throughly and was a joy to be around . Highly recommend!

A must do in Dubai! - We had the best morning in the desert for safari, sand boarding, buggy driving and camel riding. Nisar was our driver and he was so polite and an amazing driver over the sand dunes. I would highly highly recommend this is a must do in Dubai and if you get Nisar you will definitely be looked after!

An amazing afternoon on this excursion! - What an amazing trip! I highly recommend this tour to anyone, our driver Naimat was a fantastic tour guide who made us feel comfortable and secure at all times. He took the dunes at our speed and was very informative of the area and gave us lots to talk about. The BBQ dinner, entertainment, camels and falcons were also amazing. Book this tour, you will be disappointed if you don’t! And ask for Naimat - genuinely brilliant service. 🌟

Great tour, great experience. - Excellent desert tour with option to quad/buggy in the dunes. Muqtadir was the most excellent guide & driver. Would recommend to anyone vsiting Dubai.

Best Thing in Dubai SAFARI!! - it was a great experience, I can recommend the guide Sayed Fawad was very patient and explained everything we asked. It's a great trip, all day just through the desert!

Overall, we quite enjoyed it. - I’m in 2 minds about this. So I will give an honest review of both positives and negatives. Driver arrived promptly (early!) and we collected another couple from a hotel further down the palm. He then said it was very hot so we would take it slow to the desert. He stopped at a shop as a ‘rest’ about 20 mins into the drive. Here we were dressed in headscarves etc, and they attempted to persuade us to buy lots of things. We politely declined everything and then we were back in the car. To another stop. Accepted the driver needed to pray. But inside the same again “you buy this, you buy that…” Approx £40 for a head scarf. Again we politely declined. They try to get you to hire dune buggies (chargeable) whilst you wait for the guide to lower the tyre pressure for the dune bashing. This was terrifying but excellent in equal measures. Kids loved it. Driver was very courteous and did slow down when we asked (if you get car sick/do not like theme park rides I would advise against this!!). We then stopped and he took some great photos of us. Very creative. Back in the car for the drive to the actual meal. You could ride the camels, and watch a falcon show. At this point there was just a lot of waiting around.. I guess the festivities don’t start until sunset, but makes me question why such an early pick up. To avoid traffic, or to tourist trap you along the route? I would point out it wasn’t just us taken to all these shops, but other tourists too, so maybe it’s common. In arrival there was sand boarding, but no one to assist, and all of the boards were very tired looking. My teenagers had a go but couldn’t get any momentum. Fabulous sunset. My daughter and I had henna tattoos (included but you can tip the lady) . All soft drinks included and believe me, it was HOT so these were appreciated in their plentiful supply. The food was excellent. The entertainment was ok. Some audience participation involved! Belly dancer was very impressive. The drive back seemed long, but a fellow passenger remarked it was because he was avoiding toll roads. Driver was polite but quiet. I’ve read reviews of other travellers whose guide was very engaging. If we asked what a building/landmark was he told us. He did point out the palace on the way back (though all we could see was a big long wall!) All in all I’m glad we did it. Was a good experience, but I wonder if I’d paid extra/gone to a different company perhaps maybe we would’ve felt a bit more fulfilled. I would do a private car next time rather than having strangers in with us. I hadn’t realised this when I booked it (though the strangers were lovely!)

Expensive rubbish - Do not use this company They have a desk inside W hotel Paid over 1.2 k for 3 people for dune buggy and desert village bbq Total waste of money 2 hr ride to get to buggy which was ok nothing special then another hr back to the village No entertainment no camels just sat around on flea infested cushions bbq was cold absolute rubbish Back at hotel desk was offered small ! Refund back on my card. 4 weeks later I have still not received You have been warned stay away from this expensive rubbish
