Highlights
  • Cairo - Begins at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by a guide to start your tour.

  • Gizeh Plateau - Enjoy our budget-friendly private guided half-day tour to the Giza Pyramids, where you’ll visit the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx, which belong to Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. There’s also an opportunity to take a camel ride around the Great Pyramid.

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only completely preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine found in a temple ruin of a later period at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many buildings of Khufu are lost. Everything known about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For example, Khufu is the main character noted in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.

  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre. Several were found in a well in the floor of the temple by Mariette in 1860. Others were found during successive excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.

  • Great Sphinx - The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature. Facing directly from west to east, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx appears to represent the pharaoh Khafre.

  • Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Explore the timeless wonder of the ancient pyramids with our panoramic view tour. Behold the majestic structures from all angles as you take in the breathtaking beauty of these iconic landmarks. Our expert guides will provide you with fascinating insights into the history and significance of the pyramids, making this an unforgettable experience.

  • The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization - The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is considered the first museum in the world to offer a comprehensive view of Egyptian civilization throughout history, from prehistory to modern times. The NMEC exhibits several objects to show visitors the Egyptian civilization across different eras, starting with the predynastic and Ancient Egyptian periods, and continuing through the Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and modern history.

Additionally, you can see the Kaaba key and the Clepsydra, an ancient time-measuring device. You will also see all the royal mummies, which were moved in a royal parade from the Egyptian Museum to the Civilization Museum.

an experienced guide and gentleman - the pyramids came to life - many years since grrwoing up as a boy, I have always wanted to see the pyramids, now retired, this was part of a once in a lifetime holiday. I was not disappointed with this tour. I had a very experienced guide and a known gentlemen to the community, who is also a knowledgeable egyptoligist - that is essential for your tour. It is also essential that you yourself have done some homework - videos / reading etc- to understand what you will be amazed at . The guide brought my limited knowledge to life and we were able to discuss good details,l I had no intention of simply going and looking Its the last of the old world wonders of the world and I was guided well which I appreciated I also visited the new museum of civilisation - the royal mummies are worthy of visit I really enjoyed this tour and it was made extra special by my knopwledgeable and attnetive guide. I would certainly do again and recommend to anyone
