• Wadi Al Abyadh - Wadi Abyadh is a stunning wadi and one of the finest in Oman, featured in the Muscat tour. On your way, you’ll pass through a charming village with date plantations. Enjoy the crystal-clear rock pools and explore this wadi, which is adorned with lush vegetation and white boulders, likely the source of its name.
• Wakan - From Wadi Abyadh, we drive towards Wadi Mistal. After 30 km, you will reach the mountain where you’ll find two villages, Hadash and Wekan. Drive right to visit Wekan, an agricultural village situated 1700m above sea level. You’ll be amazed by the beautiful landscapes and pleasant weather, as well as the variety of fruits available.
• Nakhal Fort - Next, we continue our journey to Nakhal, where you can visit the impressive Nakhal Fortress. Located at the foothills of the mountains in a quaint town with extensive date palm plantations, this magnificent 1500-year-old fortress rises from the mountain rock, towering above the ancient village as if still warning potential attackers of its formidable strength. It has witnessed many battles and is filled with hidden escape routes and secret passages. You can explore the restored fortress and visit rooms decorated in the original old style. The view from the top over the mountains and green date plantations is breathtaking.
• Ain Al Thawarah - From there, visit the hot spring nestled among date farms a couple of kilometers from Nakhal Fort. It flows year-round with warm mineral water collected in site pools. Several chairs and shades are provided in the picnic area near the pool.
