• Wadi El Rayan - At 7, 8, or 9 am, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo/Giza in an air-conditioned vehicle heading towards Fayoum Oasis, approximately 95 km away. This oasis was a significant center for worshipping the Crocodile God “Sobek” during ancient Egyptian times. You will then visit Qaron’s Lake, the largest saltwater lake in Egypt and considered the oldest natural lake in the world. Here, you can enjoy the stunning views of winter migratory birds and various fruits and vegetables. It’s an ideal spot to unwind from a hot day tour. Next, you will head to “Wadi al-Rayan,” designated as a Protected Area in 1989. This is a fantastic destination for a soft adventure day trip. There will be an optional stop for lunch before returning to the hotel.

• Faiyum Oasis - The Faiyum Oasis is a depression or basin in the desert just west of the Nile, south of Cairo. The oasis is about 100 km (62 miles) southwest of Cairo. Take a walk to capture some photos.

• Qarun Lake - Qarun Lake is one of the oldest natural lakes in the world, the third largest lake in Egypt, and a remnant of the ancient Lake Maurice. The lake’s edge is lined with cafes and wedding pavilions.
