• Giza Plateau - The day begins at 8:00 am with a hotel pickup in Cairo or Giza by your tour guide, followed by a transfer to the Giza Pyramids for a half-day tour. You’ll visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. There is an option to explore the pyramids’ interiors or enjoy a camel ride around them for an additional fee. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Valley Temple, where priests mummified King Chephren’s body, and get an up-close view of the Sphinx.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried under the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, largely destroyed during the village’s construction.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well by Mariette in 1860 and others during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.

• Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to King Khafre’s reign. In the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.
