• Giza Plateau - Anytime from 7:00 am or earlier, our expert tour guide will pick you up from Cairo airport and transfer you to Giza City to begin your Cairo layover day tour. Visit the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, spending around 3 hours exploring the pyramids and surrounding sights. The trip also includes a short camel ride around the Great Pyramid.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was connected to a causeway, which was largely destroyed during the village’s construction.

• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, with others discovered during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.

• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also revealed several statues of Menkaure.

• Great Sphinx - Visit the Valley Temple where priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you can get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. It’s a great spot for taking fun photos with the Sphinx, and our guide will assist you.

• The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Drive from Giza to Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can see the treasures of King Tutankhamen.

• Old Cairo - Visit Old Cairo, also known as Christian Coptic Cairo, one of the most significant locations visited by the Holy Family. Though their stay was brief, the spiritual impact of their presence is still felt. The Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius) was built above a cave where they took shelter. The entire area of the Fort of Babylon is a pilgrimage destination for Egyptians and Christians worldwide. You can also visit the Church of Abu-Sergah, St. Barbara, the Hanging Church, and the old Jewish synagogue, Ben Ezra Synagogue.
