Afterwards, stroll through Alexandria’s old downtown, where you can explore traditional markets selling everything from Egyptian sweets to various goods. El Nabi Daniel Mosque - Tour the El Nabi Daniel Mosque, believed by many to be connected to Alexander the Great’s tomb. It is said to house the remains of the scholar Prophet Daniel and his companion Sidi Lokman el Hakim, a revered storyteller.

Alexandria - Continue your tour through the oldest market area in Mansheya, including the traditional women’s markets (zan’et elsetat) with their narrow streets. The gold market here is a popular spot for purchasing wedding and engagement jewelry.

Sidi Morsi Abu al-Abbas Mosque - Visit the beautiful and largest mosque in the city, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque. Outside, you’ll find an old funfair with antique rides and candy floss for children.

Alexandria - Across from the mosque is the corniche and old harbor, where you can see fishing boats, fishermen, and net makers. This area offers fantastic photo opportunities. Continue to view the exterior of Quaitbay Castle, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The castle is a stunning photo stop.

Alexandria - The car will then take you to the gardens of Montaza. On the way, you can make a quick optional stop at the King of Mango for freshly squeezed juices and take a photo at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria.

Alexandria to Siwa

Marsa Matruh - From the start of your tour, your guide will provide full attention. During the car ride, your guide will discuss various points of interest along the way. Begin your tour by driving to Alamein, where you can visit the site of a significant WWII battle. Then, continue to the beautiful bay of Marsa Matrouh for lunch on the Mediterranean Coast before heading to Siwa. The drive from Alamein to Siwa takes about 5 hours. Upon arrival, visit the Old City of Siwa (Shaly) and enjoy dinner with Bedouin people.

Siwa

Siwa - Visit the Dead Mountain (Gabel El Mouta) to see tombs such as SI Amon, MSW Isis, and Crocodile Tombs. Then, explore Gara Cave, a natural hollow formed by rain in Eocene limestone (55 million years ago). Artifacts and rock art suggest that prehistoric people lived in the cave during the late Neolithic period.

Siwa - Visit the Temple of Alexander the Great and Cleopatra’s Bath.
