Stunning trip with a lot of "extras" thanks to our well experienced tour guide - We look back at an amazing two days tour to Mount Toubkal together with two very friendly Mohameds, one our cook and Mule-expert, and one - also called "Phillipp" - our tour guide. While both of them took good care of all our needs, especially the efforts of our tour guide will remain unforgettable to us. Mohamed, to whom we developed a very good relationship during the trek, made us experience way more than we expected and paid for. Beside the hike to the Toubkal base camp (Day one) and the peak and back (Day two), we also got to see a beautiful waterfall close to Imlil. Furthermore, after having shown interest in an aeroplane crash that happened in the 60s in the Toubkal area, Mohamed lead us an alternative way back from the top to the valley: as the only hiking group of many, we took a rather less known path down the North ridge, also adding a short hike to the additional peak of "Thiberine East", were the motor of the crashed aeroplane is still laying. Together, we also explored the cemetery of the crashes' victims that is situated on the way down. We are so very thankful for all of Mohameds effort which amazed and impressed us especially since neither he nor the other guides and chefs ate something during the hike due to Ramadan. Mohamed proved to be a very experienced, and by the way also very multilingual (besides Darijaalso good English and French, a little bit of German, too, and maybe even more languages?) guide, who does not only posses a deep knowledge of the Atlas mountains, but also way beyond that, including the Sahara region, amongst others.
Thank you very much, Mohamed our cook and Mohamed (Phillipp) our tour guide!
Also a big recommendation for the Riad Jnane el Karma (very beautiful and comfortable, good food and pool!), especially the couple leading it/organizing everything - another Mohamed and his wife - who made us feel quite at home and we're super helpful in any respect.

Lovely team - I had to choose the nearest from dropdown menu because we did 2 private tours with the company.
Fantastic people, great help, Mustapha was a very safe driver, Ahmed the guide in the high atlas was wonderful, Muhamed at the guest house was adorable and Housseine and his team were very accommodating. The lot was reasonably priced.
Sad we could not do Essaouriya with them, as we left it too late to book.

My first 4000! - A group of five of us made the ascent of Toubkal. It was fantastic. Both Samir, our guide, and the cooks who accompanied him, treated us wonderfully. Samir has always been very attentive to our physical condition in the hardest parts of the climb (we are all over 50 years old), stopping to rest for a few minutes when he saw that someone needed it. Very happy and looking forward to repeating the adventure with my children in a few years.

Samir is the best guide we could ask for! - We did the toabkal trek with Samir that was nothing but perfect. He took so much care of us, in walking in our pace, helping me when I was injured all the way down and getting us to the top safely. Highly recommend him as your guide. Speaks English and French.
The best guide!

Top Trip To Toubkal - We had a fantastic time on the 2 day Mount Toubkal trek. Everything from accommodation to food to transport were sorted for us to ensure a smooth trip from Marrakech to Imlil and back to Marrakech after the climb. Would highly recommend this trip if you’re considering climbing Toubkal.

3 Day Toubkal Trek - Absolutely brilliant 2/3 day trek with our guide Mohammad. An unforgettable experience.
The guide, chef and muleteer were all very professional. Mohammad was a wealth of knowledge and managed our group very well. From the moment he greeted us in Imlil, to our return to Marrakesh, Mohammad handled everything. We really couldn’t thank him enough.
We were picked up from Marrakesh and the agreed time and everything was seamless from there. When I return, I will definitely add sometime to spend in Imlil.
Considering the affordable price, the food and accommodation far surpassed our expectations.

2-day overnight trek - We had an amazing trek with our guide, Samir, who took us on an overnight hike the mountains. Samir was amazing, and so was the food we had along the way. There is something amazing about hot stew and a glass of tea on the top of a mountain. You can also contact the company via their website, which has all kinds of hikes available for every level of hiker. Samir was responsive to our level of hiking/preferences, and he even took us out of the way to a waterfall because we said we were strong enough for it, and it was totally worth it!!

Toubkal hike and desert trip to fez! I would not recommend this company! - We booked 2 trips with them:
Toubkal hike: The communication of this company is a complete mess. They really need to work on efficient briefing, gathering info via email when making the booking, sharing info and not use whatsapp as a main tool. It felt like i was talking to a 16y old on her first day on the job. I was expecting to receive a full briefing at least one week before the trip. What to expect, gear, whats included - excluded, taxi pickup time.... so i reached out to them one day before to ask about all of the above, to hear toubkal might not be possible due to snow and winds. Safety first, fine by me! After the worst phonecall trying to get some structure in that lady's information we just went with it the next day and received a great local atlas guide at imlil which gave us a beautiful alternative route. The lcoal guide explained to us that toubkal summit is closed because of the snowfall. I texted the lady of trek in morocco to tell her that toubkal "might" not be open is incorrect, toubkal summit is closed. She responds with a thumps up :).
So the experience was great because the local atlas guide was a gem of a guy and really knew what he was doing!
-Desert trip from marrakech to fez: This time the lady texted me one day before to hear where to pick us up at our riad. So she worked a bit on her self being more pro-active. But this trip was just sitting in the car for hours, stopping at all the tourist traps, stopping for 5 min at a viewpoint to take a picture, instead of spending more daytime in beautiful places like dades valley! Merzouga desert + camp was a great experience, because there we had enough time to discover and really experience the beautiful scenery. The driver/tour guide was really little on his information/english and was also quite rude at the end. So i deff would not recommend this tour company!
