After an exciting day on the water, relax at our eco-camp on the shores of Purple Island. Our traditional Arabic camp blends authenticity with modern comforts, offering amenities such as running water, showers, and separate restrooms for men and women. Check the tide level in the Alkhor area or consult our team for the best high tide timings.

Great experience!!! - Our tour was perfect. we kayaked and paddled through the mangroves and then went to purple island and open sea. our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour amazing. I am really thankful to Google for making this tour so enjoyable. Everything was perfect!

Perfect mangroves experience for family - Perfect experience! They inform about tides at their website, the guide took our 6 years old daughter to his kayak so she has more comfort. He had plenty of water and juice for the trip, we had an extra swimming and photo time. Afterwards we talked with other participants over tea, coffee and cookies, which was also great.
Easy to get to (good signs on the route, even though it is in the dessert).
Be ready to walk in the sea water and get your bottom completely wet. For the kayak trip, really only your camera is necessary, you can leave everything else in the car in the base camp.
Normal, clean toilets available, as well as shower.

Eco frendly KAYAKING TOUR - Aqua Sports Qatar is truly an amazing destination for adventure enthusiasts! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel welcomed and excited about the various activities available.
The equipment is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, ensuring a safe and fun experience. The stunning views of the coastline make every moment unforgettable. I also loved how organized the tours and activities were, allowing me to focus solely on enjoying the adventure.
If you’re looking for an exhilarating day out in Qatar, Aqua Sports is definitely the place to be. Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced adventurers!

Fantastic trip - Had an amazing trip highly recommend . Got an Uber from Doha , I was worried about coming back but our guide Gdeta sorted a taxi back for us . Gdeta was so friendly , kindly took photos for us and very knowledgeable about the area. Provided us with drinks whilst out on the kayaks and tea and biscuits on the return . I don’t think he’ll forget us a storm hit when we were out but made it more fun !!! First time rain in a year in Qatar I have been told . Thanks again Gdeta :) very well organised

Excellent guided experience - Great kayaking experience. My guide Gudeta was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun kayaking into the open water checking out crabs, shells and fishes.
Make sure to book the tour during high tide hours for best experience

The hidden gem in Qatar - This was my fifth time going, even though it's far from doha and takes me 2 hours to go by public transportation , but i am always happy to go. working staff there are super friendly and helpful, even though i go kayaking solo but they always make sure to call and check on me while i am kayaking alone, they give me water and juice with ice, and they seem genuinely happy to answer any question i have about the place. For the mangroves itself, god it's so peaceful and relaxing, i never regret my trip, going there just cleanse the soul and mind. I am definitely going again anyway time i feel that i need to detox from the loudness of the modern city

Relaxing sunset paddle - It was a quiet and relaxing paddle. Started off hot (it was June afterall), but it cooled off and the sunset was amazing. Prince was a pleasant guide and just let us go our own pace. We didn't get to go in the mangrove channels, but I knew it we were going during a medium tide (they have a chart on their website). It was still a nice experience (and probably less buggy out on the open water.

The best school trip - This destination is one of our top adventures for the school trips. It was very well organised; the students had a very educational enjoyable time. We did as well as teachers.
Highly recommended as an exceptional experience.

7/10 - It's ok, if you have nothing to do it's a nice experience but nothing special.
You need to drive for 50 minutes from Doha and it lasts 90 minutes.
Don't forget to bring clothes to change with (the water is very salty and you will get wet for sure).
I recommend the early trips (I did it at 10 am but I guess that with sunrise it's 100% better).
